  1. It arrived today v. 8.0

This is very fitting. I got it from our coolest member in Matawan, NJ. Who else would go on it? And then one that I honestly can't believe I've never owned before: I love the all-twill Air Force inspired shoulder logos. Something tells me the nameplate will be a challenge though.
  2. KRISTOPHER LOLETANG APPRECIATION THREAD

    What is this sorcery??
  3. The feedback thread

Due to a suggestion by someone here(I honestly cannot remember who), I have decided to start a thread where all members can post their comments about any sales conducted with other board members. This will allow anyone who wants to buy/sell here to have some clarity as to who they're dealing with. Let's TRY to keep it positive though please. If you have a bad experience(hopefully not), just make sure to keep it respectful and discreet. Either that, or contact myself or another moderator and we will continue from there. Annnnnnd GO!
  4. Member collection galleries

Post the links to your entire collection here for all to enjoy! I'll get it kicked off: http://public.fotki.com/Friggy/jersey-collection/

The hardest stuff to find is the green Pro Player material. I searched for YEARS on that and could never find it. Hell, Keener couldn't even get it sublimated right. The only real option I had was to buy another pro jersey and cut it up. But that's ridiculous.
  6. It arrived today v. 8.0

I was thinking about going after Welch's blue one to get a matching set but I decided against it at the end. One crappy-looking jersey from a lousy tournament is definitely enough for me. Besides, there's a few things in the gameworn auction that I'm looking at so I'd rather go for those...including something I've NEVER seen before.

Yes! It's such a big goofy piece of plastic too. When I read 'microchip', I thought...you know...MICROCHIP. Not a mid-90's anti-theft ink tag from the mall. It had to be uncomfortable for them to wear that thing on their neck. I considered the blue ones but I went with the white to honor the Russia game my friends and I had to go to a Rutgers dump bar at 7am on Saturday to watch. That was probably the drunkest I've ever been before 10am.

So, I paid my invoice at about 9:30am...and I had it in my hands at 4:45pm. Not too bad. Talk about cheap. The crest and all the numbers are heat-pressed. Still, an Olympic jersey for $500.00 is a deal; no matter the player. It's even better when there's actually some NOTICEABLE wear on the front!
  9. It arrived today v. 8.0

Now THAT is my kind of Adidas jersey. Outstanding.
  10. It arrived today v. 8.0

Talk about a contrast in color. From those magnificent royal blue jerseys to black and silver. Guh.
  11. KRISTOPHER LOLETANG APPRECIATION THREAD

    It's about goddamn time.
  12. eBay version 4.0

You should have taken a dump in a box, marked it guaranteed and sent it back.
  13. The Patch Thread 2.0

If beating Canada is considered shittin the bed, sign me up.
  14. It arrived today v. 8.0

Those white Leafs jerseys are super sharp. Too bad they got pasted in that game.
  15. The Patch Thread 2.0

In 1989, the year 2000 felt like it was fifty years away. But, it's still dangerous to enter without lights on.
  16. 2018 Mens US Team?

I'm surprised! Man, I was dead wrong, huh? But you do bring up a really good point that I guess I never noticed until just now. I feel like a horse's patoot for not picking up on that before.
  17. 2018 Mens US Team?

They've been wearing this same style since it was introduced in 2014 so I would imagine some variation of it. I can't see the Olympic ones being used here.
  18. The Patch Thread 2.0

Made in 2007??? So they knew! WHAT ELSE HASN'T THE NHL TOLD US?!?!?!!?
  19. The Official IceJerseys MLB thread

There have been teams who have worn gray or blue at home recently. It's mostly because those uniforms are throwbacks though. The Rangers, Phillies and Blue Jays all come to mind. All three have worn their old school powder blues at home as part of a Turn Back the Clock series with another team or as an alternate night.
  20. Adidas NHL On Ice Jersey

If anyone could come up with a more apt description of him, I'm all ears.
  21. Adidas NHL On Ice Jersey

Only the best NHL jersey ever worn on the ice. It would still be around if that dildoface hadn't been a big weiner baby.
  22. How To STRIP A JERSEY 101

I did it twice. Neither time was successful. I would advise against it if at all possible. There will be scarring on that awful material.
  23. eBay version 4.0

So then the green one technically IS his first NHL game jersey. As great of a find as it is, I wouldn't consider the Riga game one to be his first NHL jersey as it was not used during league play.
  24. eBay version 4.0

I don't think he ever wore #39 on the road. Just at home. Here's the one I was thinking of. Neil Wilkinson wore it the next year but it's clearly matched to Modano: http://www.gamewornauctions.net/products/1988_89_Mike_Modano_Minnesota_North_Stars_Game_Worn_Jersey_Rookie_1st_NHL_Game_Photo_Match_Video_Match-8372-0.html Also, the auction for the green jersey was from 2010 (I bid on that auction...clearly I didn't win) while the white #39 was from 2014. It's entirely possible that nobody really knew he had worn a #39 until more recently. I seem to recall it being a pretty big find over on the gwa forums back then.
