Am I the only one who's put off by the fact that the Blues wear white top-layer numbers on their blue jerseys now? It's so weird looking. I love the style of the jersey now (sans that stupid curved stripe) but I can't get past those white numbers.

    The feedback thread

Due to a suggestion by someone here(I honestly cannot remember who), I have decided to start a thread where all members can post their comments about any sales conducted with other board members. This will allow anyone who wants to buy/sell here to have some clarity as to who they're dealing with. Let's TRY to keep it positive though please. If you have a bad experience(hopefully not), just make sure to keep it respectful and discreet. Either that, or contact myself or another moderator and we will continue from there. Annnnnnd GO!

I found this online. It looks like the same model he used. Either way, it's pretty dope.

Why are so many of those shots taken on dirty outdoor pavers?

Holy crap!!! That Ice Cats jersey is easily the coolest thing I've seen in months! The twill detail is incredible.

It would happen more often than you'd think. I had a white Oilers Doug Weight jersey that had the A hand stitched on. I think at least three of my Titans jerseys have hand stitched letters too. Hell, the Kings used velcro letters in the late 80's.

I honestly don't know what the deal is with the USA one. It was definitely worn because it shows wear (albeit light) but the guy selling it was clueless about it. Not only did he have it listed as a Scott Young jersey but he also dated it from 2002. Nope to both. I think...THINK it was worn by CJ Young and maybe during the 1991-92 regular season leading into the Olympics. The font matches my Canada Cup jerseys exactly so I'm leaning towards that. Either way, it's a great style that works for me.

Let's keep this party going. Here's a few I've wrapped in the last few days and one that arrived today. First, the obvious ones: Then my MeiGray freebee done: And finally, the eBay (oddball) arrival:

Oof, I love that red Generals. Those are one of the greatest styles ever used. I like the fact that it's basically been unchanged forever.

Now that was a pro move. Good thinking. You know what my only gripe about it is? You'll laugh at this because it's stupid and trivial....but the lettering looks way too new for the jersey. I know that sounds so dumb but it's strange seeing something that's almost 40 years old with what looks like brand new twill on it! They still look awesome though.

Nope. Prototypes are exactly the same as what would be worn on the ice. That's the point of it all.

It's definitely a prototype. Maybe somebody had it customized because I can't see the sample pieces going around with Ruutu on the back. Holy hell, that Sandow Blues and Alpha Bruins are remarkable. Where did you ever find matching durene material for the Sutter nameplate??

I shall echo my admiration for the USA Roenick. Not only is it a cool choice with #17 but that is my all-time favorite USA style. It's the perfect blend of older colors and modern(for the late 80's anyway) patterning.

How does this work? I thought the city of Hartford had licensing right over that logo and the merchandise. Nevertheless, it is spectacular and a welcome sight to see in the league again.

What makes you think the Mighty Ducks jersey is bad? Just because of the fight strap placement? That's accurate. They must have done that to avoid any visible stitching within the diagonal stripes. I want to say the Capitals did something similar in that time frame too.

    The Want List

I want a New York baseball Giants game worn jersey circa 1883-1957. Bonus points if it's the blue version from 1936-46. Extra bonus points if it was worn in a Subway Series (21, 22, 23, 36, 37 and 51).

If they were doing the RIGHT thing, they'd make that the home jersey and a white version the road. Hell, I'd even take the 1995-1999 version at this point. Anything is better than the garbage they have now.

    The Official IceJerseys MLB thread

Just iron it. A wrinkly number is not the end of the world. Majestic probably sells and packages hundreds of jerseys each day. I'm sure they don't have the time to properly fold and box each one up.
