  1. Oh ye of little faith. Once the Stars clip the Wings tonight, it's back to the Joe to close them out! 1975!
  2. Nice pickups Brilliant! I'm really jealous of the second one (surprise surprise, I know), Bradley was a blast to watch on the ice! I hope ya got a good deal!
  3. That's..uh....different. Yikes.

If he accepts an offer and its on your watch list, I'm pretty sure the Best Offer price he took for the jersey is displayed. You just won't see the other previous offers, just like you can't see others max bids, only the amount they actually paid.
  5. 2 new arrivals that I thought I'd share. Nothing too exciting compared to what some of you guys have gotten lately though... First is a 2006 Nike Swift Team Canada Replica. Thinking maybe Richards on the back eventually, but that's way down the list on the customizations. I just always wanted to see a Swift, so this was a steal for what I got it for. Next is an authentic Bauer IHL Detroit Vipers. It's a 44, my smallest authentic yet, and fits a little snug, but this one only cost a few bucks more than the Canada above, so I couldn't pass up a former Bolts minor league affiliate albeit briefly). I'm unsure of any names for the back yet... Think I'm done buying jerseys for a while, money is a little too tight here at the Thunderdome, er, my house. Please excuse my lack of photography skills.
  6. I've wondered this myself, sometimes you can't find what you've got on ebay to get an idea of what its worth. For some of you guys on here, it must be fun to explain to the insurance guy that your homeowners insurance needs $75,000 in coverage for hockey jerseys!
  7. I love this team with every ounce of my being, but I can't afford those prices. If I could, I'd be all over #19. As it stands, I'm trying to scrape up the 4 grand to renew my season tickets. Jerseys, much as I love them, are a luxury I can't afford more of at the moment.

Happy Buyers don't equal a good or authentic product from what I've seen. Lots of people don't know the difference. Also, probably some know they're not getting anything legit for 20 bucks, and are okay with it. Just my thinking.
  9. That sounds interesting...though I'm hesitant to purchase a division rival's sweater!
  10. Has anyone heard anything new? An outside confirmation rather than heresay or any possible jersey designs? I'm looking forward to a possible Bolts 3rd in dark blue...
  11. The scary this is early in the season I was debating taking my girlfriend down to Sunrise for this game, never got around to buying tickets. Had I known this was going on too, I would have snapped them up. Maybe this is too good to pass up now...what jersey to wear....? I don't have anything that obscure...
  12. I'm pretty happy with this signature generator thing. I'm posting this as much to see my new sig as anything else... Although, it would be nice to show the front of my blank jerseys. And why is AkBars Kazan in the RSL not listed anywhere?

My 2003-4 season CCM authentic has that same upper tag, but the lower tag is a maple leaf with the size and "made in Canada", not the seperate sizing tag shown to the left in your picture. Perhaps that's a gameworn?
  14. Duke: Nice grab, he's one that may be disappearing from Blueland. Weren't people more worried about losing Hossa though? I know rumors were swirling around him. A 58G I'd swim in. I fit pretty well in a 46 and a 50 is baggy and loose on me, so I guess a "hockey jersey fit" is different depending on the guy in the sweater. I do wonder why they don't make the 58 available for purchase, seems the larger jerseys sell a lot better than the smaller ones.
  15. So I went ahead and got 2 of my authentics autographed. Fun story, at least for me. I was getting concerned my favorite player Brad Richards is the center of trade rumors and I never even got to meet the guy except through the glass, so I made plans to attend a practice and hopefully meet some players afterwards. The team practices about 45 minutes from here in the butt end of nowhere, Brandon, Florida, just behind what I think is a truck repair warehouse. Not the coolest place. But, we found it and caught a little of the practice. Luckily, all the big names were there, but I didn't see where they exited the rink in time to get any signatures so I went out back to where they park. They kept us away from the exit, but players COULD stop if they so chose and sign autographs, or blow right on buy the group of about 100 that was waiting to see them. Long story short, most stopped. Richards wasn't going to, he was on the phone when he pulled up, but two cars in front of him had stopped and were signing, so he got off the phone and obliged us. People were telling me lately he hasn't stopped. He said he was off to a "meeting", and our Coach Tortorella wasn't at practice, so from the looks of things he was going back to work on a list of teams he'd waive his NTC for. He looked dejected, it really shook me up. Anyway, he's what I got. Still a polite guy, just seemed kinda heartbroken. I really feel for him. And here's someone you may recognize with my girlfriend, a buddy and the kid his girlfriend babysits (we used her as bait for autographs! can't resist a cute kid!). I'm not pictured because I'm a vampire and don't show up on film. Or I was taking the picture, something like that. Vinny is by far the nicest hockey player I've ever met, everything people say about him is absolutely true. He parked his Escalade and stayed with every fan until they'd all seen and talked to him. He chatted with some kids playing youth hockey on the other ice at the rink and complimented him on scoring a goal in their game! He was even holding babies and taking pictures with them, like a presidential candidate. Such a class act. Coincidentally, I also had my Marty St. Louis jersey there for autographs, but he didn't stop. People tell me he's been stopping less and less lately. All in all, not a bad haul. Sorry I'm so long winded, I was just really excited. Now I'm watching the trade wire, hoping #19 stays off. Take Prospal or Boyle, please and thank you. Now I'm torn. Do I still wear them? I'm thinking no.
