    Hello, joined up in part to answer this question: The patch is a really awful attempt by the NHL to look more like the NFL, IMO, and it looks bad on the hockey jersey. My sister got a customized replica and I removed it for her with one of those cuticle removers. Jersey looks much better with the patch removed. So if you're going to keep the jersey, go for it.
