  1. The V Neck is off. it's supposed to be rounder. also the lettering is not correct, just by looking at the leg of the R
  2. do you have any pics? if I could see how it looks i could help you

    Edge 2.0

Yeah. I should have been more precise.

    Edge 2.0

RBK EDGE 1.0 is the first EDGE uniform presented during the 2007 All-star game and then released for every 30 teams for the 2007-08 season. It is also the only authentic jersey for sale right now. However, during the first months of the 2007-08 season, many players complained about the fabric and the water-repellent process used for the jersey. So Reebok changed the fabric and now the NHL players are using the RBK EDGE 2.0 (unofficial name). Basically it's the EDGE cut with the pre-EDGE fabric. Those jerseys are not for sale. The only way to have an EDGE 2.0 is to buy a Game Worn jersey. I know that during the 2007-08 season not all teams changed at the same time. I remember watching a game between the Habs and the Capitals. The Habs had 1.0 and the Caps had 2.0. But right now I think every team in the league are using 2.0.
  5. Yeah cause there are some exeptions. Bruins players (even from Québec), Brière and Flyers jerseys in general are not welcomed in general because of what the team represent.
  6. Rangers numbering pattern : Classic. Putting 2 layers of numbers sightly off to look like it : eBay classic.

the tag on the collar is wrong. The RBK EDGE tag is supposed to be black and white not blue silver and white.
  8. ''You will be the envy of others in your section'' I don't think so...
  9. where did you get an authentic ohl jersey? eBay?
  10. It's the same thing for the non-third. The red and blue is twill and the white is embroidered. the logo also have zig zag stiching aroud the blue I bought one but when I recieved it the patch was too small and the ''Coupe Stanley Championnat'' didn't have blue border. I know I won't be able to find the exact same thing but that wasn't close enough for me. So I'll continue my searches.
  11. I think they made that change because the red looks better on TV. On the left it's the white one (pre-98) in the middle it is an EDGE authentic and on the right it's the 1915-16 CAC centenial jersey. They used a even more darker red for the 1916 jersey. They used that same red for the barber pole jersey. And on the 40s jersey (white with a blue line in the middle) they used the lighter red of the pre-1998 jersey. That's a close up of the white and the EDGE. They also sightly changed the logo in 1998: They made the logo bigger (the habs had one of the smallest logo in the NHL at that), the ''H'' is thinner and taller and the 2 vertical lines are not the same width. The red ''C'' also looks thinner and is more ''open''.
  12. It's in Centre Eaton (McGill Station by metro or the entrance is on Ste-Catherine): http://centreeaton.shopping.ca/cambridge/j....jsp?mallid=eat The store is called Edition Limitée: http://centreeaton.shopping.ca/retrievesto...&mallid=eat I love to go there to see the stuff that I can't afford. They have a lot of authographed stuff: Jerseys, Pucks, Frames, (they have a beautiful authographied Maurice Richard frame). Unfortunately the flames jersey was the only one in the rack. the rest was pretty much old Canadiens hoodies and t-shirts. There was 1 other jersey in the rack; An anaheim mighty ducks replica 3rd jersey (the black one with purple and white) but that's about it for the 20$ rack. There are other jerseys in the store but they are not cheaper than anywhere else. I really think this jersey slipped through. That or they really wanted to get rid of it.
  13. Carbo And Roy were my favorite players when I was young so I have the choice but I'm seriously leaning towards Carbo. I the best of the worlds I would have both (Carbo with the 1993 stanley cup patch and Roy with the 1993 all star game OR stanley cup 100th anniversary patch). I love the white pre-1998 Habs jersey. The red is brighter, the lettering is 2 colors (not 3), and it's made of ultrafil material. Wich I find more corfortable
  14. I got those about 1 month ago but I didn't have time to post them here: I got this one on eBay. About a year ago I posted on this forum because I was searching for a pre-1998 white canadiens jersey. I was ready to buy a replica then but with the time, I realised that I don't like the replicas from that period. Expecially the habs jerseys. they are too far from the authentics. So I started searching for an authentic and one year later here I am! It is in perfect condition. I could not be happier! It will make a great 1993 stanley cup jersey. BTW I need an ultrafil nameplate on it. If I customise it with Icejerseys, will they put an ultrafil nameplate or will I have to find one myself? I got this one about a week later. I went into a sports memorabilia store in Montréal and found it in the 20$ rack! No kidding! This jersey is 10 to 15 years old and was in a store new with the tags. I wanted to take a break of buying jerseys for some time but I couldn't resist that!

I have no problems with his canucks jerseys. But the Nordiques.... I saw it once and i though it was legit... Exept for the fact that it's sold by griffenfood. How can you tell it's a fake?
