Nice, thanks for the information. I prefer non-gamers, (I know weird), but were these available (CCM) in stores at all? I've looked around and have gotten conflicting information, although everyone seems to have a Starter version of some kind for sale.

I'm still trying to find my whale, the 1996 Penguins 3rd CCM authentic, but they seem to be impossible to find, game worn or other.

Thanks for the info guys, I see it for sale all the time, but I didn't want to spend on a jersey that was only worn in preseason, etc.

Hi all, Just curious, but did Lemieux ever wear that ugly yellow Penguins jersey from 83, perhaps in the preseason? The unofficial NHL uniform database says 'No' but I've seen pictures of him in it. Some insight would be welcome, really curious about this. Thanks, J

Hi all, This is a great site, I'm trying to find a customized Penguins authentic 3rd jersey, from ProPlayer or Starter (size 52-54), I find the ebay prices are a little ridicules, as they all seem to be customized Lemieux's. Anyway I'm not picky about who's on it, although Kovelev, Straka, Nedved or Kasperitus would be awesome, if anyone has one they're looking to trade or sell please inbox me and maybe we can make a deal. Hi all, Thanks for all the advice on here, in the last two weeks I've gotten myself a 96's era authentic CCM unltrafil Jagr (road black) with tags still attached and a late 90's authentic Starter Nedved (home white) with tags still attached. Love them both, although I think I prefer the CCM Ultralfil a little more. I had an Airnet Sharks one as a kid and I wasn't a fan. Anyway for advice, I want a Penguins 3rd from the 90's and which one should I be looking for, there are so many options out there. Thanks, J

Hi everyone again, So I'm wondering, I want a pro Penguins 3rd jersey. The CCM version is obviously out, since they were only made in small quantities (gamers as I understand), so I'm looking at either a Starter or ProPlayer. I realize ProPlayer wouldn't be an option for Lemieux, so I'm looking at getting Jagr for Starter and or Kovalev or Straka for ProPlayer. Can any of you experts on here tell which is of better quality? I mean if you had to pick, which company's authentic's would you prefer? Thanks, J

Hi everyone, Now that I have some information, thanks to the guys in the other forum, I'm looking for an authentic Penguins 3rd jersey by Starter (not the Haiti one) or ProPlayer, preferably with a name and number on it, Straka or Kovalev would be ideal, but I'd consider Jagr or Lemieux as well (I like the lesser knowns I guess) Anyway if anyone has any of these, SZ 52, let me know. I would love to see Luc Robitaille, Markus Naslund or Sergei Zubov Penguin jersey's out there. An Alexandre Daigle or Petr Klima one would just be so obscure they'd be beyond awesome! Funny enough, albeit not as obscure, I just bought on eBay a Penguins home Nedved jersey.

Thanks guys, great info! So are all the Starter and ProPlayer versions of that jersey AirKnit then, or at least until they went to CCM/KOHO. I'm not a fan of these branded ones as I think they're AirKnit and it was a a sad time to be a Penguins fan...

Hi, I'm new to all this, am a huge Penguins fan and am looking for a 1996 CCM Ultrafil jersey to no avail. The following season they appear to use Starter, is they're any difference between the two (not a fan of Airknit at all). I'm a novice to all this, so any info would be great. Thanks, J
