  1. Figured it would be easier to bump up an old thread then making a new one... At what point should one contact Josh to find out when the jerseys will be done? Shipped out my jerseys on 10/19/20; probably would have received then a few days later. 1 full customization, and 1 just a nameplate add. It’s been 19 weeks now. I know they don’t like getting bothered with the “when will my jerseys be done” questions, but this is excessively long right?
  2. The Day Has Come!!! After 18 weeks, 128 days, North Star delivered my...1 jersey kit.
  3. Same experience for me with CSL. Less than 3 weeks from the day I shipped from Iowa to have them back in hand. 5 total jerseys!!!
  4. That is my guess, but I would think he probably paid less then $700 as the auction was ended early. Here is an idea of what that white sold for in the past (assuming it is the same jersey - it could be a different set) https://www.gamewornauctions.net/products/1996_97_Viktor_Kozlov_Sharks_Game_Worn_Jersey_Team_Letter-183-14.html So, I would think that preseason would be worth more like $200-250. I don't think he is asking a ridiculous amount, but if you are interested, I would think you could get it cheaper.
  5. Here is something interesting about the jersey: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1996-97-amp-1994-95-Viktor-Kozlov-Game-Worn-Used-San-Jose-Sharks-Jerseys-/324478855060?nma=true&si=dpKdtgJQ3is5ah2an03tUa63P%2FY%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  6. Everything seems to be correct. The vinyl crest is the correct bigger size with the thick white boarder. The heat pressed name and number look right too. I don't think someone would fake this as a preseason jersey and sell it for $300. I know most collectors don't really like these preseason all heat pressed version and they don't really sell for a lot. I'm also someone that doesn't think autographs to anything for the value of the jersey. This is an older auction and I don't know much about Crown Sport Auctions, but here is an example of one selling: https://www.crownsportsauction.com/1991-92-jayson-more-game-used-san-jose-sharks-pre--lot504.aspx
  7. A couple more for my Zarley Zalpaski colleciton... 1993-94 Zarley Zalapski Calgary Flames Authentic Home Jersey This jersey is a 1992-93 Game Used jersey of Carey Wilson recycled for the 1993 Training Camp possibly used by David Struch. Zalapski was traded to the Flames near the end of the 93-94 season. I decided to keep the game wear and just add the "Zalapski" nameplate. 1999-2000 Zarley Zalapski Philadelphia Flyers Authentic Alternate Jersey
  8. It's just the shine from the vinyl logo...but now I want McD French Fries.
  9. Big Hawks Practice Jersey CSL Mail Day!!! 2016 Patrick Kane Chicago Blackhawks Military Warm-Up Jersey 2019 Duncan Keith Chicago Blackhawks Winter Classic Practice Jersey 2019 Jonathan Toews Chicago Blackhawks Winter Classic Practice Jersey 2020-21 Nicolas Beaudin Chicago Blackhawks White Practice Jersey 2020-21 Pius Suter Chicago Blackhawks Red Practice Jersey 2020-21 Chicago Blackhawks Blue Practice Jersey
  10. Would everyone try and clean the jersey as good as possible, or leave the indications it was game used. For example, the left over residue of the stanley cup patch...clean it with acetone to remove any residue it was ever there (I am sure it will work fine) or should I keep it since that was there when it was worn (even though the team removed it)? Same question for the puck marks?
  11. I need some help from the community on what to do with a jersey that I have. As most collectors on here know I am a big Zarley Zalapski fan. I purchased a 1993 Calgary Flames Training Camp jersey - #33 no name. Perfect for the Zalapski conversion right? Well, that was my plan, and what I am still going to do. However, when I received it, there was obvious wear and indications the 1992-93 Stanley Cup Anniversary patch had been removed. Obvious signs that this was used for that 1992-93 season by Carey Wilson (I am looking to see if I can find a photo match). The Flames back then were well known to recycle jerseys, and this jersey has been stamped with the 1993 Training Camp in the inside back hem. It was possibly used by David Struch during this time as well. Zarley came to the Flames midway in that 1993-94 season after being traded and took over the #33. He did not use this jersey. Now my question for you collectors, Since I am going to just add the Zalapski name to this jersey, I am basically going to treat this as an authentic jersey. Would you remove as much indication that this was a game worn jersey - get it as clean as possible? Or, should I try and document as much as possible that this was game used in the 1992-93 season, name plate was removed by the team, to recycle for the next season training camp - indicating that the Zalapski nameplate was added later? Thanks for you opinions - it will help me decide the best route to go with this one.
  12. They were not on-ice quality. No double elbows and they were missing the fight strap. Which, of course, made the MIC even more ridiculous. Everyone was freaking out that they had Made in Canada all-star jerseys and thought this made them super valuable, yet they were made worse quality than the standard Indo junk. I really miss the days of the authentic 6100 and the semi pro 550 days.
  13. Yes they did. It is even on the COA too. Great addition for the 2019-20 season jerseys!
  14. Mail Day! 2019-20 Set 1 Lucas Carlsson Chicago Blackhawks Away Game Worn Jersey. NHL Debut, Repairs, & Photo Matched!
  15. I need to check my stuff, but I am pretty sure I need to track down a couple Stan Mikita #21 patches. PM me if you have anything available.
  16. Yeah, the term "Team Issued" was definitely a term that was developed because Adidas lack of selling the on-ice product at retail. You could argue that same about Starter "Made in Berlin" vs El Salvador, but I don't really remember it really being a thing back then. I guess look at it this way, Team Issued is a jersey that was made for that team to use during game play. Game Issued is a jersey that was made for that specific player to wear during game play, and of course game worn was worn by that player during a game. I see any conversion of a game issued or a game worn jersey to any other player than who it was designed to be used for, automatically changes that jersey to a Team Issued jersey. While I agree that a game worn jersey should never be stripped, I don't have a problem with a game issued being converted. Training Camp jersey - I guess I am ok because it wasn't worn in a real game. I would say preseason worn is not ok. Again, if Adidas would just make the MIC jersey available to the general public, this wouldn't be an issue.
  17. I have a handful of jersey I am looking for. Most of them are for my Zarley Zalapski collection and other to just finish projects. All around a size 52-54 preferred. Of course if you can help me find any of ZZ's gamers that would be top of my list!!! Here is what I need: 1989-92 CCM Hartford Whalers White or Green (The Mesh or the Ultrafil, not the Air-Knit) 1994-97 CCM White Calgary Flames 1999-2000 CCM Orange Philadelphia Flyers (Must be the CCM with the silver NHL logo on the bottom hem) 1999-00 Long Beach Ice Dogs IHL (I know about the white one on eBay - I'm watching it) 2000-2005 CCM White Colorado Avalanche
  18. Have you try contacting the post office? They might be able to put an alert on it, and have it flagged as a return to sender. I also hate SLS - their customer services is a joke! I "bought" an item on there, but forgot to update my payment info on my account (updated credit card info). They relisted the item with out notifying me, and it sold before I knew what happened. At least give me a chance A-Holes!!! I haven't used them since.
  19. So you're the one that won that! I started the bidding, but wasn't fully invested in it since I still have my Kampf gamer.
  20. I have been waiting since 10/19 on one jersey kit from North Star. I even said they didn't have to sew it, just send it loose. I paid that day too. Edit: Never mind, just got confirmation the kit was sent out last week!
  21. I was able to finally pick up a Zalapski Flames "Pedestal" Game Used Jersey! 1996-97 Zarley Zalapski Calgary Flames Away Set 2 Game Used Jersey (Probably worn in the 1997-98 season as he only played the first two games in the 96-97 season before injuring his knee)
  22. Whoever that guy is, I heard he’s a jerk! 😁 BTW, if anyone is interested, I would do much better dealing directly with you.
  23. I have been trying to work out a deal for a game used of his in the same style, but for the time being...it will do.
  24. I guessed. It would make the most sense. #3 was available at the start of the season and #33 was used by Marc Savard. Those were the only numbers he had used at that point of his NHL career. I might be wrong, but I have been looking for over a year now with no luck, so if someone can prove it to be wrong, I can always change it. Now I need to figure out the number he wore for the Lightning in the 1999-2000 season in which he had a professional tryout from 9/2/99 - 9/13/99. I have the jerseys, just need to know what to customize it with. It gets a little confusing because #3 was Gusev, #33 was Modin. He wore #24 with the Flyers later in the year and that was used by Reid Simpson. I have no clue what it would be.
  25. Nothing too exciting, but I did add a couple to my Zarley Zalapski Collection: 1995-96 Zarley Zalapski Calgary Flames Authentic Away Jersey Size 52 1998-99 Zarley Zalapski New York Rangers Authentic Home Team Issued Preseason Jersey Size 54-R with proper heat pressed nameplate the Ranges use for the preseason
