  1. eBay version 4.0

Well, I decided the throw out an offer of $150, just to see where it would lead, maybe start negotiations. He counters with $295. Takes off a whole $5.00. I hope he's stuck with that jersey for years and can't move it. I'm just salty because I haven't bought anything new in almost two months and even that was stuff that I didn't really want that much.
  2. NY Islanders fisherman/lighthouse 1995-1998 jerseys question

Yes they make them in a size 44. The black jerseys were just replicas that starter did as an alternate color jersey. They did this for a lot of teams. Blackhawks had a Yellow jersey, Sharks had a black jersey as well if I remember correctly. The teams never wore this style though. It was just one of those starter things they did in the 90's, kind of like the Starter baseball style hockey jerseys that were popular in hip-hop like Kris Kross. "Daddy Mac will make ya...JUMP! JUMP!"
  3. eBay version 4.0

What would be a realistic price for this jersey if I was to make an offer. No way it's a $300 jersey, but I don't want to be disrespectful either. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buffalo-Sabres-Vintage-CCM-Center-Ice-Authentic-Pro-NHL-Hockey-Jersey-Ultrafil/222646187720?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
  4. Bump. Speaking to bad sellers market - a properly customized, kiss cut jersey from a player selected as a top 100 player for all time by the NHL, for $100 shipped!!! I will trade for a blank authentic jersey from the early '90s - any team I don't have, but Flyers and Sabres would be at the top of my list. Sizes 52-56.
  5. I am looking to sell the following jersey: Authentic 2005-06 Joe Nieuwendyk Florida Panthers Home Reebok Hockey Jersey 52 - $150.00 Price Drop! Now only $100.00 The jersey is a great condition, looks new. The jersey is properly customized with kiss cut numbers, and letters with proper air-knit arched nameplate. Price included free shipping anywhere in North America. I also have a couple odds and ends that are just taking up space and I can't see myself needing them for anything. So, if you want them - you can have them, completely free. One catch - you must keep them or give them away if you don't want them. You not getting much for them anyway, but please don't take my stuff and flip it - even if it's a few bucks. Here are the items I have: Chicago Blackhawks Red Jersey Twill Captain 'C' 1992-93 Tampa Bay Lightning Roman Hamrlik Black Jersey Air Knit Nameplate Not sure how accurate the Jets and Lightning nameplates are, but they are close. I think the Lightning Air-knit might be a bit different, but like I said, it's close. The Rangers patch appears to be authentic, and the Hawks 'C' is spot on. Pictures can be seen here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/149993333@N06/albums/72157684015285303 Also - to go all 2000's movie reference - pay it forward!
  6. The Current Situation of the Secondary Market

I have had a problem of not being able to find anything to buy over the last month or so, and the stuff I have gotten before that are things that I bought just cause I thought I was getting a good deal and not necessarily something I've been searching for. I'm not on Facebook and don't want to be - but what other options are out there other than here and eBay? Not having bought a jersey in over a month has me twitching like a crackhead...I need my jersey fix!!!
  7. CCM vintage Rangers jersey

I got $150 for my 1994 Stanley Cup White CCM Mesh Larmer jersey. Mine was a size 52, it was not in perfect condition though, so I would say $200 - $250 range.
  8. For an authentic, I've gone north of $400 for an authentic. When I collected game worn jerseys, I spent more than $1200 for one. My girlfriend at the time (now my wife) saw that PayPal transaction and just about killed me. I had to show her all the other jerseys I sold so I could "afford" to spend that much. This was true, I sold like 5 other low end gamers to get enough money to purchase the one I wanted, but that didn't go over well for a few days there.
  9. Is there another team that used the same blue color as the Capitals "Screaming Eagle" Blue airknit jersey? Does the St Louis Blues jersey match the Capitals color, or is it a complete unique blue color from any other team? I need to match a nameplate, but I want to make sure I get a matching one. Thanks for the help! Brent
  10. 1995-2000 Washington Capitals Blue Color Help

Thanks for the help - sounds like that is going to be tough to find, so Keener or EPS might be the route I have to go. Which leads me to this (and I know there is a separate thread for this, but...) who would you get on this jersey, Bondra or Oates, if I make a 97-98 Stanley cup patched jersey? Bondra scored 52 goals that year. Oates is considered a top 100 player of all time.
  11. Nameplates Needed

Missed out on the one above from Chow_Hound so.... I need to find a Black Ultrafil name plate 4" Tall and 10" long - preferred serged on the top and bottom if possible. I also have a Nordiques blue I could trade or for sale too. Let me know how long you would need.
  12. The Want List

Looking for a 80's-90's Buffalo Sabres UltraFil Size 52-56. I prefer the White, but the Blue will work too. There are a couple on eBay right now (a Blue Ruttu 89-90 jersey & blank White jersey) but I would like to find a better price. I think both are priced high. If someone has one they don't need in their collection, I have a home for it.
  13. 2017-2018 Jersey Watch

Life was so much easier when CCM sold the Semi-Pro 550 jerseys and Authentic 6100 jerseys. I would say that the old CCM semi-pro are probably better quality then the "Authentic" Adizero jerseys now.
  14. 2017-2018 Jersey Watch

Hell No, Adizero, Hell No, Adizero I can't do it. I know once I receive the Indo jerseys, I will be disappointed and just sell it right away. Plus I hate the neck of the Hawks jersey anyway. At some point, we will figure out how to get the Canadian made ones - just be patient.
  15. Islanders pro Fisherman jersey value?

The best way that I try and determine prices is to see what they sell for on eBay. The fisherman is tough, because sometimes replicas sell for more that an authentic jersey. For example, two replicas sold this week between $200 - 250, but last week as size 52 authentic sold for $158 and a blue one sold for $165.00 Storm authentics are hard to find, so the value is hard to determine. Replica typically sell for the $150-200 range. That's a good one though - if fact, PM me, I might be interested myself. The Kentucky Thoroughblades is a little tough, two game worn jerseys just sold for $175.99 yesterday. That might be ball park for what I would expect. Also, the market is down right now - so values might adjust once the season starts.
  16. It is good or not?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-1990s-Nike-Center-Ice-Anaheim-Mighty-Ducks-Wild-Wing-Jersey-Size-52-NHL-/292252604318?hash=item440b9cd79e:g:SDQAAOSwgjFZuV38 Is this a real thing? Was this really an idea for a Ducks alternate jersey? Or, was this just a customized fan jersey that thought that front logo would be cool? Can't say I have ever heard about them considering this. Usually I hear about concept jersey that failed like the Blue trumpet jersey, or the redesign of the Nordiques that never happened - things like that, but this I have never seen.
  17. eBay new seller, 1 feedback?

You can always just pay a bit of extra money and sent it signature confirmation. There is there is no doubt it was delivered and someone at the household had to accept it. There is no way they can dispute it then.
  18. The Patch Thread 2.0

Still looking for one of the 1998 Stanley Cup Patch - let me know if there are any leads. Also, this has probably been discussed before, what how can you tell if a Stanley Cup 100th patch is authentic (the one's worn on the 1992-93 jerseys). I need to get at least one, but I want to be able to tell the difference between an Authentic and a Reproduction.
  19. The Want List

I have some funds sitting in PayPal and I would like to find a jersey that I really want before I spend it on something that I don't really need. I would need a size 52 - 56 - Jerseys can be either blanks or properly customized jerseys (unless a jersey that needs to be stripped is cheaper because of the work needed). Here are the jerseys at the top of my want list (In alphabetical order of team name) 1980-95 Buffalo Sabres Ultrafil (prefer white, but blue would be fine) 1991-92 Chicago Blackhawks TBTC (would take smaller size - this jersey is the jersey I want them most) 2017 Chicago Blackhawks Winter Classic 1980-88 Los Angeles Kings either Home or Away 1984-92 Philadelphia Flyers Road Orange (I would love to find an Eagle jersey, but CCM is good too) 1995-97 Vancouver Canucks Red Alternate 1987-95 Washington Capitals Road Red 1980-90 Winnipeg Jets (Road Blue prefered, but white would be fine) Also, check my photo page, I'm would be interested in any 1980's-90's jerseys from teams that I don't currently have: https://www.flickr.com/photos/149993333@N06/albums
  20. It is good or not?

The weird thing about that one on eBay is that the 'N' does not have the black outline stitch. As far as I can tell, once they added the black to their jerseys, the black outline should have been added. There is something wrong about that jersey, plus it's way overpriced anyway. A better one will come along.
  21. It is good or not?

Alright, I may have bought a bad jersey on eBay last night. I have excuses - I just got done playing 18, I was making supper, and Game of Thrones was coming on. So, I sold my Wild Wing jersey a few months ago, and I came across one last night right when I opened my eBay app. It looked good at first and it was listed for cheap, so I pressed the buy-it-now. Well, I look at it today, and I notice it has a weird CCM logo on the back. I have had a few in the past and everyone has the embroidered teal with white letters in the Big Block font - the one I just ordered has a white with teal back, it looks to be embroidered, but I'm not sure. 22. Spudrock512's Jersey Collection

Since it was rainy all weekend here in the Midwest, I finally got around to photographing my jerseys and uploading them. I decided to open a Flickr account and it is really easy to use, much better than photobucket. I have two folders, my Blackhawks jersey and my other NHL jerseys. I will also link this on my signature line. I know this doesn't compare to a lot of you here, but I am happy with it, and it continues to grow. Here's the link: https://www.flickr.com/photos/149993333@N06/albums
  23. It is good or not?

I know this is way off topic considering this is a Hockey forum, but is anyone knowledgeable about NFL jerseys? I'm need to get a new Cowboys jersey before the season starts and found this on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nike-Limited-Vapor-Authentic-Dallas-Cowboys-Dak-Prescott-Jersey-L/122637852511?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 I know football jerseys are faked as much as hockey jerseys so I want to make sure it's good if I submit an offer.
  24. It arrived today v. 8.0

Recent jerseys either completed or purchased: 1988-89 Brendan Shanahan New Jersey Devils Away Jersey Size 48 1991-92 Brian Leetch New York Rangers TBTC Jersey Size 48 1992-93 Pavol Demitra Ottawa Senators Away Jersey Size 52 2003-04 Ryan Smyth Edmonton Oliers Alternate Jersey Size 56
  25. eBay version 4.0

Wouldn't those Devils jersey be 1989-90 jerseys? No NHL shield or maybe it didn't get that far in production since the crest wasn't even added yet. It is interesting why Meigray would have those in their inventory. I wonder if someone in the Devils organization found those in storage and just gave them to Meigray to sell. It's pretty cool, but I don't think it would be very easy to find an authentic crest for that time period to complete a devils jersey - and it sucks they are a size 44.
