They are what the players wear during photo shoots generally during the draft or shortly after to be used for the upcoming players rookie year with their hockey cards. Hi guys, I've been having this discussion with Mike via PM, but I thought I'd ask the community as a whole what you think my best bet is. I took advice from here on the forum and contacted Pete about getting a Ducks throwback customization kit. Can't say enough good things about the guy! He was fast and very communicative. Even gave me some help with getting the right Edge nameplate, which he didn't have to do. When I got the kit (A Selanne, of course!), it looked great, on spec to the on-ice jerseys, which is, I understand, hard to get. BUT there was a malformation in the white twill on the big '8'. I asked Pete about it, and he said he'd be happy to do another one for me, but it turns out mine is the last one...the team customizer ran out of the Jade and Eggplant-colored twill, and they likely won't reorder it. On the one side, it makes me feel lucky that I have this kit, but on the other hand, I'm a bit bummed. There's a couple pictures below, but I'm having trouble describing it. It LOOKS in pictures as if there's a bubble, but it's not. The twill is completely flat, but in one spot the normal lines are twisted, making it an optical illusion as if it's 3D. My question is, is there anything I can do here? Would it be possible to replace the white twill top layer? If so, where can I get a piece of white twill? If I can't get it off, could I pull the threads and sew a new twill layer on top of the existing twill? Has anyone done anything like this before!? Thanks a bunch, everyone!

So there's this site I found the other day? Not much to say, it pretty much speaks for itself...but what? Looks like the Anaheim will be selling throwbacks of pretty much every jersey (minus a few minor things like the Edge version of the 06-07s) they've ever worn (with Teemu's name on it) in honor of Teemu's retirement today. Like...kinda unexpected for them to go that far with this, but, that's kinda cool. If you want a special throwback version of the old jerseys or something I guess, might wanna try seeing when these are available. I'm especially looking at the Wild Wing and the two purple/teal 90's alternates, as those are especially rare. If they're actually making new ones, those will sell out pretty fast. And it'd be nice to see those jerseys come back into production.
