I'd find it sad to see a franchise with their history leave, but at this stage of the game, who knows.
SabreFaninNYC
It seems like there's been dark days for the Islanders for a long time. I'd find it sad to see a franchise with their history leave, but at this stage of the game, who knows. I think a lot of the NHL is up for grabs at this point. I would be extremely disappointed if the Isles moved. So much history there. Wang was threatening all along that he has this deadline in his head. I bet if nothing happens this season, hello KC Isles!
ZoomZoom18
We got problems in Phoenix, Florida, Tampa Bay, Atlanta, Nashville, and with the Islanders. I've heard rumors about Columbus as well. This is a mess. Me personally, I think expansion is the last thing they need to be worried about until they get their franchises stable or in places where they can be stable. With this economy these days, who knows how long that could be.
PYLrulz
I could care less about the Islanders, however, they need an owner that cares. Its obvious there are plenty of Isles fans in the area, its just Wang has been a "Wang". Some, like Phoenix (well is too poisoned), Nashville (good teams, and still cant sell out the place), Miami (not a great sports town), Atlanta (even worse), do need to move to better places, but the Isles should not be one of them.
