BlueShirtOn34thStreet
that patch looks terrible, idk if that how they all are.. ^^
Brilliant!
It almost looks like the Fed patch was sewn over a screened or heat-pressed patch that was previously there.

Any idea what the black strap thing is? Is it a fake Jersey? Never seen anything like it but don't know much about international jerseys. Looks more like a seat belt than a fight strap.
St. Patrick
I was checking this one really close. Something just didn't look right. Then I started to debate on buying it, before I let it get away. I kept looking at the star over the "N", thinking something was off. Then it hit me. It doesn't have the "N"on the shoulders! But everything else looked correct. So, What do you guys think about this North Stars jersey? http://www.ebay.com/itm/280860884799?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2648#ht_500wt_1180
Mnwildfan7000
It appears correct. I believe for one season they did not have the shoulder logo. I believe it is the time between Steichens and the switch to the CCM product.
St. Patrick
I don't think so. They have had the shoulder "N" on the white's since the early 1980's.

Mnwildfan7000
It's almost correct. Needs shoulder patches, better check the under arm for gussets.....
F-liars
My guess is it's some sort of radical prototype by Nike. It actually has two layers, the outer shell and an inner shell. This "buckle" system on the inner front replaces the traditional velcro fight strap. The strap is in the bottom hem and it wraps around the body. I used to have a white Canada Swift that looked like this. It had numbers in the font style used by Canada in the 2006 World Juniors. I thought maybe they were used in the Sledge competition (Paralympics), but I've seen pictures with the traditional fight strap.

Also, see: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Basil-McRae-17-Minnesota-North-Stars-Hockey-Jersey-/370602181432?_trksid=p4340.m1374&_trkparms=algo%3DUPI.GIROS%26its%3DI%252BC%252BS%26itu%3DUCI%252BUCC%26otn%3D8%26pmod%3D280860884799%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D7588592612920327657#ht_551wt_1185

Only the home white jerseys had them.
slimcutta
So, What do you guys think about this North Stars jersey? http://www.ebay.com/...8#ht_500wt_1180 He's a member here, he's just been banned for a week for telling off another member. Not sure what he paid, but here's the original auction The jersey should have shoulder patches, and unless you make 'em from scratch, I don't know where you'll find 'em. The jersey definitely isn't worth $280 without them, though...imo. Too bad that green one is a size 44...they don't come around too often. Brian
Quite a mark-up, though tht may be the true market value of the jersey. Strange that the shoulder patches are missing. Looks like they may be available, but for $280 it ought to come complete. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Minnesota-North-Stars-NHL-Shoulder-Patch-Crest-/310153596832?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item4836984fa0
slimcutta
http://www.ebay.com/...=item4836984fa0 I don't know about you, but I'd be pissed if my jersey showed up with those on it. Besides, the original ones were far from perfect, so I don't think it would be that hard to recreate 'em.
Mnwildfan7000
If you can flat scan the patch work, I am sure someone who cad cuts kits can recreate these.
Brian
You're right. The original would be relatively easy to duplicate. The "star" might be the hardest part.

Jason Credible
Hey everyone, I was wondering if this jersey is real or not. It looks legit to me, but I'm not exactly sure. Any info will be appreciated greatly.
Mnwildfan7000
It's a real replica. CCM 550. Blank ones go for $40 to $60 depending on the team. It's a jersey foul if you buy that one. Wayne did not ever wear that jersey.

LAK74
You could buy a Koho authentic for less than that, and without the screwed-up customization.

It isn't outrageously bad but the 7 looks funny, for example.
