What hockey arenas have you been to?

So I have a few hockey road trips coming up in the next month or so and I was just curious to see what arenas you all have visited to see your favorite team, or just to see hockey in general if you are visiting somewhere. I love going to see other arenas and cities...it's part of the ultimate hockey fan experience for me. Plus it's always fun seeing how many other people came to cheer on the Pens besides me.

Here's my list:

NHL:

Mellon Arena (Pittsburgh)

Nassau Coliseum (Long Island)

Madison Square Garden (NYC)

Will be going to:

Prudential Center (Newark)

Wachovia Center (Philly)

AHL:

Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza (home arena in Wilkes-Barre, PA)

Onondaga County War Memorial (Syracuse, NY)

Blue Cross Arena (Rochester, NY)

Broome County Veterans' Memorial Arena (Binghamton, NY)

Giant Center (Hershey, PA)

Wachovia Spectrum (Philly)

Arena at Harbor Yard (Bridgeport, CT)

Will be going to:

Mass Mutual Center (Springfield, MA)

ECHL:

Sovereign Center (Reading, PA)

Arenas I want to go to:

Wesbanco Arena (Wheeling, WV)

Times Union Center (Albany, NY)

Verizon Wireless Arena (Manchester, NH)

Dunkin Donuts Center (Providence, RI)

HSBC Arena (Buffalo)

XCel Center (Minnesota)

Nationwide Arena (Columbus)

Verizon Center (Washington, DC)

RBC Center (North Carolina)

OK..who else wants to share their travels?

NHL:

Boston Gardens

Philips Arena

Greensboro Coliseum

(Will eventually add American Airlines Center to this list)

ECHL:

Qwest Arena

Like JeffB, my baseball stadiums list would be much longer. The places I have been stationed have not been areas in which NHL teams are located. I left North Carolina while the Hurricanes were in Greensboro which was quite a drive. Lived 4 hours south of Atlanta, and now live 2 1/2 hours north of Dallas. So getting to NHL games has always been something that had to be planned out in advance.

NHL

Wachovia Center

Madison Square Garden

Verizon Center (when it was MCI Center)

AHL

The Spectrum

Giant Center

Wachovia Arena

Copps Coliseum

Ricoh Coliseum

Depending on what happens, I might go to either Binghamton, Syracuse, or Norfolk this season, depends on if I go to Wilkes Barre for a Bears-Baby Pens game or not

NHL:

Capital Centre/USAir Arena (Washington)

MCI Center/Verizon Center (Washington)

Miami Arena (Florida)

Boston Garden (Boston)

Fleet Center/TDBanknorth Garden (Boston)

RBC Center (Carolina)

AHL/IHL:

Baltimore Arena [now 1st Mariner Bank Arena] (Skipjacks)

Kemper Arena - for basketball (IHL Kansas City Blades)

Planning to get to a Bears game in Hershey this season, so I'll be able to legitimately add Giant Center.

Gutterson Field House (Vermont)

Lynah Rink (Cornell)

Other:

Campion Rink (Hanover, NH - for Vermont Law School games in local league)

Let's see:

NHL games

Phillips Arena (Thrashers) hopefully going to go again when the Rangers come this Saturday!

Madison Square Garden (Rangers) DUH

Continental Airlines Arena (Devils)

Prudential Center (Devils)

Sommet Center (Predators) I don't know what it is called now

I've taken Tours of, but not seen games at

TD Garden (Bruins)

Centre Bell (Canadiens)

World Juniors

HSBC Arena (Sabres) forgot this one d'oh!

I can't think of anymore, but I really need to do some hockey roadtrips. I was going to try and visit the Xcel center for the draft, IF the Mets were playing out in St. Paul for interleague play the same weekend. Turns out the Twins came to New York, so I watched my Mets beat the Twins while screaming about how horrible a pick Dylan McIlrath was.

Cool, if I end up getting cheap tickets I'll let you know

Yeah I'm definitely going. Should be fun to watch the Rangers destroy the thrashers.

Did you just quote and reply to yourself? scratch.gif

You don't talk to yourself? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?????????

But yeah, why not. I enjoy the attention it brings to myself. I'm awesome, so this is a way of showing it.

I scored tickets in my favorite section so I'm excited about the game. I'll be sitting in 311.

It breaks my heart to see Wolski in a Rags uniform but it'll be fun to watch him play tonight.

I'm in 304. I'll stop by wearing a Rangers TBTC jersey.
