I wouldn't have posted it if it wasn't legit. Those Gretzky fakes all are double Starter tagged on the hem, don't have the correct size tag (48-R, 52-R etc.) and actually are a different shade of blue (more cyan than royal). Now that I know it will make things a little easier. I picked it up anyway. I couldn't see anything on the two pictures of the stains, so I figure it can't be that bad. Yeh that Gretzky style was one of the more prominent fakes prior to the Edge fake explosion, so most people here don't re-hash all the details when one gets posted for a legit check. Here's a post I made a year ago of the details to look for. About 5 posts above the one I linked also has some pictures of the Gretzky in question. Why are the arm numbers and stripes so low, and the rear numbers are so high on this Gilmour? Booooo M&N!!!! I don't really have anything against the old M&N NHL jerseys. They are pretty nice quality wise. And I believe M&N does a nice job reproducing the jersey styles of different eras. Aside from that, they're not the greatest, so I agree with you. I actually don't own one of the newer style NHL M&N jerseys. The customization in the pictures on their site looks HUGE compared to what it should be like. I don't know if that's a misrepresentation on their site, or if that's actually the case. Also, I think it's pretty ugly there is a "Mitchell and Ness" jock tag on the bottom of the back hem. UGLY! And the selection of the players and jerseys of the newer style stink IMO. It's still M&N, so they had to screw up something like the "R" in the name.
