What's up with this jersey? Saw it a while back, but it was quickly pulled. Same logo as the TBTC jerseys, what looks to be a sewn CCM logo, but no NHL logo, and a style they've never worn. Is it similar to those crazy Starter 'any color goes' jerseys?

The Rangers NEVER wore screen-printed CCM jerseys.

Huh? Weren't you the one who pointed out they wore replicas with screen printed ccm during that weird outdoor game in vegas, or something?

But yes, that ebay one is embroidered.

I'm talking about the sz 44 rangers jersey listed here

http://www.ebay.com/itm/VTG-NEW-YORK-RANGERS-LEETCH-CCM-JERSEY-MENS-44-NEW-NWT-SEWN-NY-NHL-HOCKEY-/130618779707?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item1e697c683b#ht_514wt_1163

the picture with the CCM close up, the holes in the letters makes it looks screened on

The reason the holes show through is because some teams didn't have the white portions of the letters embroidered on their white jerseys. Check out any jersey that has a white hem and there probably won't be any thread inside the letters.

And yes Chris, if you want to get technical, the Rangers did use screened-on CCM logos during their Caesars Palace game BUT those jerseys were just modified replicas during the pre-season so it doesn't really count.

It looks like the '95-'99 Ottawa jerseys with a Blackhawks crest sewn on. My guess would be that someone had them made for a mens or kids league team. They have another one in their store with the regular Chicago chief's head logo also.

How do you guys feel about an auction like this? The seller is advertising this jersey as "team issued". The jersey itself is a team stock Edge 2.0 but it is customized (most likely not at the same place the players' jerseys are done at.) I understand there is a difference between "team issued" and "game issued."

The real kicker is this quote "This model of jersey is not available to the public to purchase and if there are any around, they're most likely size 58's. Its an ultra rare jersey for the collector who pays attention to detail."

He is selling a 56 but Kesler wears a 58... didn't pay attention to that detail.

It's a team issued 2.0 customized .. I think the seller was honest about that and didn't try to pass it off as a game issue, so I don't think the listing is misleading even if Kesler wears a different size.

I think that is fine. The seller says he got it customized. The jersey itself is a team issued jersey.

However, this is the wrong way to describe an auction http://www.ebay.com/itm/270863756385?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Tavares facts:

Rookie season wore 2.0

Size 56

Wore the navy jersey for his Photo Shoot w/Upper Deck --> Sold on NHL Auctions

That jersey:

1.0, 58

i know nothing about devils, but the font looks a little off, no? also, why the customized body and arms? would this have been some sort of team issue?

It has a meigray patch.

MGG patches don't really mean anything, we've all seen the fake Meigray "Groop" patches on knockoffs. Hell, I actually saw one in person last night. Some jackwagon went over to the Steiner table at MSG wearing an obviously fake Lundqvist jersey with fake MGG tags, and he was telling one of the Steiner guys that it was game-worn. The worst part? The idiot Steiner guy actually BELIEVED him, going as far as to tell him what games it was worn. He had absolutely no idea it was fake.

Meigray tags don't always mean something.

I actually bought that one a while back and returned it, took for ever - the seller was cool about returning it but it cost me $25 to more or less look at it. The problem I had with it was the jersey looks like it was a 44 or 48 that was cut under both arms from the cuffs all the way down to the hem and a inch to an inch and a half strip was sewn in to it - the sewn in material does not match the Ultrafil, it was more like replica jersey material.

IMO the jersey is ruined, if you are considering it ask for lots of pics.
