Forsberg4MVP
So I bought an authentic proplayer Avalanche jersey (home-white) about two weeks that I found in a local store and now I'm looking to get it customized so I need your help experts . This is going to be the first time I get a jersey customized as well so I got quite a few questions. I guess I'll start off with the supposedly easier questions. 1. Where can I get an official NHL 2000 burgundy patch?. Should the patch be sewn and ironed on and if so, which one do you do first?. 2. I'm assuming this will be hard to get but where can I get a nameplate?. If I'm not able to get a legit nameplate, has anyone gone to or ordered from a fabric store?. I've been searching a few fabric stores for athletic/sport mesh and this what I found. If anyone else has any recommendations, that would be great. According to the tag of the jersey, it says 100% nylon. So I'd assuming style: AM-046 from spandexhouse would be the best however, I don't know if they carry it in white and I'm not sure if they ship to Canada. http://www.seattlefabrics.com/mesh.html http://www.fabricsworldusa.com/cat_products.php?cat_id=292 http://www.spandexhouse.com/products.asp?pg=2&id=62&pname=Mesh-Athletic%20Mesh 3. Regarding the "A", should I let the store do the "A" or should I buy this "A" from ebay then ask the store sew it on?. http://cgi.ebay.com/C-COL-AVALANCHE-95-07-SEWN-AWAY-JERSEY-CHEST-PATCH-/360210912525?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item53de3e550d 4. Is there anything else I should know about this particular year (1999-2000) for Avalanche jerseys?. Also, what material was used for the numbers (back and shoulders if different) and name etc. Also, I'm using these as my reference photos so please let me know if they are sufficient or not. If anyone has any other reference photos to share, that would b great!. http://s1137.photobucket.com/albums/n518/Forsberg4MVP/1999-2000%20Jersey%20Reference/ I appreciate all the help I can get as I really don't don't much about jerseys especially getting one customized for the first time. On that note, if there is anything else I should know, please let me know. Thanks

akteon
In a pinch you can use burgundy Starter mesh for the nameplate. Send a PM to Jay (Burnaby Joe Sakic) he's the man when it comes to any questions you have about Avs jerseys. He helped me get my Drury done right by Denver Athletic. Kolbe31
Old thread bump! Can anyone confirm/deny that the Avs 1999-2000 Pro Player jerseys used stacked twill instead of kiss-cut. Thanks!
LetsGoCaps
Andreychuk GW Looks stacked to me.

TheKevinShow
I don't see an inner stitch on the middle layer so it's probably stacked.
