Funniest moment of any show was when Paul Stanley threw his guitar up in the air and tried to catch it. It came down and cracked him on the head.

Let me guess, The woman you were dating wanted to go to Celine Dion huh? Same here..She was given 6th row tix and I went with her. At least we can say we saw an icon though. I'll admit her voice is incredible but I'd still rather go to see Terri Nunn. More my style of music.

When I was in high school we lived close enough to Meadowbrook Music Festival that I could sit on the back poarch and listen to the bands play and hear them just fine, so I heard a lot of bands live that I never actually saw. Add to that hundreds of local bands that no one here has heard of. There was a point where I was going to see live music 4-5 nights a week for about 10 years, that and playing guitar in a band that has opened locally for touring artist and I've seen a s*** load of live music over the years. Music is life to me.

Yes I am in Finland. All of the shows I have attended have been in Finland also, except for Bob Dylan which was in Denmark.

My list is a little different then most of yours (I'm probably fairly young in comparison, 27)

TLC (yes the pop group, I was 11 and was my first time to a concert and I was at Paramount Canada's Wonderland where they have concerts every Saturday in the summer and I had no clue who they where lol)

Our Lady Peace

Staind

Finger Eleven

Alexisonfire

Aerosmith

Ozzy Osbourne

Disturbed

Corrosion of Conformity

Dope

In This Moment

Five Finger Death Punch

Slipknot

Machine Head

Dragonforce

Mastodon

36 Crazyfists

Bad Religion

All That Remains

Skindred

Art Of Dying

Chickenfoot

Sloan

Great Big Sea

Marilyn Manson

Lamb Of God

Gwar

Stone Temple Pilots

City And Color

The Trews

Dave Matthews Band

Avenged Sevenfold

Shadows Fall

Hatebreed

KoRn

Rob Zombie

Atreyu

Tend to take footage when I'm at concerts, yes I'm one of "those guys" but I try not to be intrusive to other peoples viewing and have never gotten complained to, usually the opposite asking if I post my footage online. As I've progressed through the years my camera has gotten better and same with my camera work (except for the last concert, Five Finger Death Punch & All That Remains, may have had a bit too much to drink)

These lists are ridiculous, I wish I had the opportunity (and money) to see most of them. Anyway, here's my little list:

Beastie Boys (first concert, it was AWESOME)

Megadeth/Children of Bodom/In Flames (Gingatour)

AC/DC!

The Answer (opened for AC/DC, and they've become one of my favorite bands)

Saliva

Creed

Jethro Tull

RUSH x2

Disturbed/Korn/Sevendust (Music as a Weapon)

Motley Crue

Iron Maiden/Alice Cooper coming up in June

Hopefully they'll be something else worth going to this year. Might have to see Def Leppard, but I doubt it.

Yeah I can't stand that crap. I record every concert I go to, with the exception of Beastie Boys since I didn't have a camera then. I also have really bad videos of Gigantour, Saliva and Disturbed because my old camera sucked and I was right in front of the stage. Iron Maiden videos should be awesome.

The best bands I've seen:

Iron Maiden

Primus

Anthrax w/Joey

Megadeth

During the late 90's I saw a lot of "punk" bands like Pennywise and Bad Religion

I'm still holding out hope I get to see Faith No More at some point in my life.

Dude, you say Anthrax w/ Joey...like there's any other Anthrax out there! :D I don't consider anything during the Bush years to be Anthrax but simply Armored Saint redux.

Here's a partial list

Music is life to me.

You listed Loverboy before Led Zeppelin?

I've seen more than I can remember, but let's take a stab at some of the more notable ones.

The Clash

U2 (War tour)

Elvis Costello

R. E. M.

Blondie

The Cure

New Order

David Bowie

Bauhaus

James

Midnight Oil

The Pixies

The Fall

Stereolab

Jesus and the Mary Chain

Van Morrison

Devo

Oasis

Radiohead

Violent Femmes

Sinead O'Connor

X

and...

The Electric Light Orchestra - first concert ever back in 1981 or so.

By now nearly everyone has probably seen several of these groups as they have gone on to long careers of filling big arenas, if not stadiums, but many of the ones I have listed were in small clubs or theaters when they were just becoming known, such as The Cure at First Avenue in Minneapolis, which holds about 1,500, or the time I first saw Radiohead, they were the opening act for someone else!

Faster Pussycat was supporting Lynch Mob so I didn't have a choice, worth it cause George Lynch is awesome. Winger were supporting RATT but I like Winger anyway I'd take Reb Beach over most other guitarists from the era

So, I was sitting in class yesterday when Motley Crue and KISS announced that they're touring together this summer. Already got my ticket to see them at Jones Beach a week after my birthday. I'm not big on KISS at all, but I don't need an excuse to see Crue.

For anyone interested - http://www.livenation.com/Motley-Crue-tickets/artist/910417?tm_link=search_act_1_name

Lol Ike and Tina and John Denver. Beach Boys and CSNY are acceptable, I'll give you a pass on JT too.

Edit: For the guys who have seen Alice Cooper and KISS, how are they? I mean, I know KISS is supposedly one of the best live acts on the planet, but I've obviously never seen them. Alice Cooper is opening for Maiden, and I only like two of his songs. Worth seeing? (Disclaimer: I'm obviously not driving all the way to Long Island for Motley Crue and leaving before KISS, I just wanna know what to expect)

Halloween theatrics, 4th of July fireworks, and good old Rock and Roll...I took someone to see Kiss and Aerosmith on a night where Kiss opened. After seeing Kiss my friend seemed bored with Aerosmith and basically wanted to leave after like 4 or 5 songs. It kind of seemed like a let down after all the energy of the Kiss experience.
