So, getting Brindy with the A was a bonus. I have known about the jersey for about three years and the seller finally agreed to let it go. To all Flyers faithful, during the 99-00 season, did the Flyers only wear black at home as an alternate or did they wear them on the road as well? I know that they switched to the black for the playoffs on the road. I know that Brindy played 7 road games for the Flyers that year before he was dealt for Primeau. The wear on the jersey is pretty extensive which leads me to believe he may have worn this jersey in most if not all of the road games. If anyone knows please message me. The flash of the camera makes the edge material shine so it looks like a different shade. Poopy, The strings are sublimated into the twill numbers. I will post a close up in a bit. To me, I can't accept anything less than perfect. Being a graphic designer by profession, I know that the tracking/kerning (space between letters) can greatly affect the look of a font/typeface. Cosby's has the correct 90's thin fonts, however they need to be perfect when it comes to the spacing they did in that era, or else it won't look perfect!!! I can certainly appreciate the sentiment, but it's probably not a bad idea to remember that (often enough) Cosby's didn't do it right on the gamers, and many gamers show inconsistencies. I actually like certain anomalies when things aren't quite perfect. One of my favorites is how the Red Wings used to put the crest too high, and often Steve's C would be slapped across the shoulder seam - And on some, despite the crest being low enough, they still threw it up there - ps - this one's just to drive you bonkers: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The actual patch they wore is much different than the patch that was available for retail, and I don't think I've seen anyone obtain one yet. Especially if you just say something like "nice!". I appreciated seeing those badass Preds right at the top of the page here.
