Brilliant!

Jersey foul too. If it's supposed to be a 1998-99, he should be #8, with ASG patch, and no A. If 1999-00, wrong NHL shield (should be black), and needs NHL2000 patch, and no A.

Check out this guys listing.

Game worn practice jersey (not green) and he's asking considerably less than our buddy with the Green Flyers Joffa.

*Also, read the bottom of his listing, good to see he took care of the other buyer that never received his stuff.

I bought a Preds gamer from him a few years ago. Nice guy and he threw in a Preds coffee mug with the jersey.

Alright, I'm gonna need some help with this one...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-CCM-BOSTON-BRUINS-AUTHENTIC-NHL-MASKA-JERSEY-Fight-Strap-BURRIDGE-12-/121113670331?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item1c32eff2bb

The jersey itself is wrecked. Huge marks, holes, stains, the whole bit. Custom Crafted lettering work and faded CC stamp on the left back hem, which is consistent with what the Bruins wore in '89.

Now, I'm pretty sold that this isn't your run-of-the-mill retail shirt from '89. But, if it's game-worn, how much of the carnage is actually game wear?

That description was a good laugh. If it's the case that he got it straight from Burridge, that ain't no fake blood. My original thought was that if it's that destroyed, it might just have been poorly handled and not representative of the original wear. Or worse, it could have been a good reproduction.

I actually didn't read the description fully until after I made that post, so I guess it makes it more believable. And just from a third person perspective, it's kind-of awesome how we value rips and burns and marks and repairs... As long as the player made them. A single snag on a retail shirt? You better believe people are gonna pay less for it.

I think that Burridge is definitely legit. It has the CC logo covered up by fabric on the hem which is what the league forced all teams to do with outside advertising that year. That's also the reason why teams started stamping their hems with same-colored logos. I just don't know about that burn mark on the arm. That's kinda strange. It almost looks like a cigarette burn.

Speaking of USA hockey jerseys, can anyone explain this?

$306?!?! hooooolllly s***. I was watching that too, but that is nuts. I have seen those go for around 75-150.

I just nabbed the exact same one today for less than $30 shipped. needs a little cleaning, but way better than dropping 300 bones.

No joke: Only five years ago, I scored both the blue AND white versions of that style for a combined price of $110 within a three-day span. I was also picking off the blank 1932 throwbacks at about $65-75 a clip too. Oh how things change.
