foppa21
Thanks for the picture, the repro looks pretty good to me so I'll probably get that once I decide on who to customize my jersey too
thebiggoalie
Still searching for a HHOF 2007 patch, or at least a good quality picture if anybody has an authentic they won't part with.
bluejacket
Do teams that are hosting the ASG wear ASG patches on their jerseys all season or just until the ASG is played and finish the season without the patch? akteon
As far as I know host teams only wear the All-Star Game patch on their jerseys up until the game. I do know there are some other oddities like I believe the Rangers in 1994 only wore the All-Star Game patch on their road jerseys.
DC Red Wings
Yeah I'd imagine that's for each team to decide on their own what they want to do, I can't imagine the NHL would require them to wear a patch all year or stop using it after the game. LAK74
The Kings wore their patches in 2001-02 even throughout the playoffs.
modano1973
The Stars also wore their All-Star patches in 2006-2007 even throughout the playoffs.

aroomadoomie
Any clues to a Winnipeg inaugural season patch I can put on a jersey?
AlereFlammam
Contact the jets store in Winnipeg. The one at the MTS centre should help
thepunisher767
If anyone is in need of a Red Wings All-Star jersey team shoulder patch: http://www.ebay.com/itm/nice-HOCKEY-jersey-DETROIT-RED-WINGS-winter-classic-2009-adult-LARGE-NHL-/261479747428 I had an easy time stripping the jersey I bought, so I would hope the same goes with this. (I used Goof-Off to weaken the adhesive).
MIGHTY-DUCKS8
Can anyone point me in the right direction for original 2000 NHL Red patches?
akteon
Based on these comparison shots I would say that these two red NHL2000 patches on eBay look legit: http://www.ebay.com/itm/191183963052 http://www.ebay.com/itm/131100926074 And these look like repros: http://www.ebay.com/itm/261479793643 http://www.ebay.com/itm/221412905118 http://www.ebay.com/itm/221383992340 Unfortunately you can't always tell until you have them in person. If you're really worried, you could ask them to show you a pic of the back of them and that should resolve the issue.

uptown
I'm looking to a Game One Patch for a Pen's jersey 2000 season .. does anyone have any leads when i can get one? The repro in the first pic just doesn't cut it or do you guys think I am being too harsh ? Thanks!
FlyersFan376
I think you're being a bit harsh, but i'm not much of a patch guy so i'd place little value on my opinion
dsl135
The repro almost looks better than the real one IMO, haha.
FuzzyPenguin
I have been looking for the Japan patch for a long time myself they are pretty difficult to find. There are a few jerseys available that have the patch on them but I haven't been able to justify spending $300+ on a game issue of an unknown player just for the patch on it haha. Of Senators and Kings
How do you tell a repro 1983-1993 patch from a real one and how much should each go for? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1993-NHL-STANLEY-CUP-FINAL-100TH-ANNIVERSARY-LOGO-JERSEY-PATCH-ENGLISH-VERSION-/390721708155?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item5af8d4207b http://www.ebay.com/itm/1993-NHL-STANLEY-CUP-FINAL-100TH-ANNIVERSARY-LOGO-JERSEY-PATCH-ENGLISH-VERSION-/390721708155?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item5af8d4207b
LAK74
The 2 links lead to the same listing. The patch in the photo looks like an original but that is not the patch you will receive if you order it from them. Their patch doesn't come close. Trust me, I had to return the one I got from them. Of Senators and Kings
Meant to link this as another listing...thanks for the heads up LAK! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Official-1993-NHL-Stanley-Cup-Patch-Montreal-Canadiens-vs-L-A-Kings-/131124496468?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item1e87a10854
LAK74
Side-by-side comparison, with a typical repro on the left. Main differences are in the texture of the embroidered areas- the authentic has a fuzzier texture with softer details. Repro has sharper letters, numbers and other details. I've been able to find originals for around the same price as repros. They're not that hard to find.
akteon
I think it's funny that in the real patches the guy is smiling but he doesn't look so happy on the repros.

Skid Mark
I think it's funny that in the real patches the guy is smiling but he doesn't look so happy on the repros. Hahahaha, I never noticed that before. The repo must have been designed for Caps jerseys!!
