In the recent years there have been alot, what about "Proplayer", that did not last long, huh?

The jerseys go back many years, anyone know how many companies have had the deal to make them

In the 90's there were a few like Starter, CCM, Nike, Bauer (Preds only), Pro Player (99-00 only)

In the 80's they had Maska, CCM, Eagle, Adidas/CCM (some jerseys had both logo in the hem), Sandow SK, Nike

Here is a list that I could come up with. Pretty sure it isn't 100% complete though.

Reebok, CCM, Koho, Nike, Starter, Pro Player, Bauer, and Wilson Sporting Goods.

You're right on Eagle. The Flyers wore Eagle jerseys in the 80's.

I can't think of any other company that hasn't already been said. Except, maybe, Steichen's? I believe they did the North Stars.

Check out this little pic from nhluniforms:

The tags apparently started appearing in the 80's.

While they never officially made any jerseys (they were tagged on the ref jerseys from 2000 to the lockout) Jofa was originally supposed to be the neck tag for all 3rd jerseys. This was to spread The Hockey Company's three major brands, CCM, KOHO, and JOFA equally but it was nixed becuase not every team had a 3rd jersey and since 3rd jerseys (with the exception of Toronto) were dark jerseys, they used KOHO for alts.

Yeah, the Kappa logos is one girl and one guy back to back. Not nearly as cool as if it was two chicks.

Going back to the mid- and late-70's, you've got manufacturers like:

--Goodman's (LA-based. Made the Flyers, Islanders, Kings and the original Canucks' "flying V" jersey during the 70's. Note the number font on the Isles, Kings and Canucks jerseys from the late '70's. It's identical)

--Rawlings made Penguins and Blues jerseys during the mid-70's.

--Stall & Dean was the Bruins' jersey supplier during this period. The Penguins eventually transitioned to S&D from Rawlings. S&D also made the first Pens' black-and-gold jersey, much to the consternation of the Bruins!

--In the late 80's, Pittsburgh contracted with Century Sports for jerseys. There are likely pics out there that show the hem tag.

--And there's Gerry Cosby, of course... they supplied the Rangers and (in the beginning) the Devils for years.

--Gunzo's supplied the Blackhawks for many years as well. (That was a great jersey tag.)
