slimcutta Posted February 26, 2014 Report Share Posted February 26, 2014 Circa '85 the Flyers, Poulin's 'C' and Marsh and Howe's alternate 'A' were white on orange on their home jerseys similar to this guy - [/url] I've found a few examples of Poulin rocking it, including this gamer here - But I'm having a hard time finding any good pics of Howe or Marsh wearing the home white jersey, as everything out there seems be of their road jerseys - The only one that comes close is this guy where you can just barely see the top of Howe's A - Anyways, I've been hunting ebay, getty, google, etc, and haven't had any luck. Anyone out there happen to have a good pic or two of Howe or Marsh wearing the white A? Big money, no whammy, no whammy, no whaaaaaammmmyyy....STOP! Here's two videos of the Flyers in 1986 losing to my Rangers in Patrick Division semis.. Not very clear videos but you can see Marsh's white A in some of it.. Yeah, I downloaded those before posting this. Was hunting for a good shot, but got caught up in the action, and Espos commentary. Watched all 3 parts and then recognized I wasn't paying much attention to finding a good pic, lol. found these Slim. *ahem*...is it too much to ask for colour pics? Jurk. I kid, I kid. After having seen pics and vids of both Poulin and Marsh rockin em, I had no doubt Howe did too, but was hoping to find some good pics is all. Those two above are great...just need 'em in color. But I have to ask, why color if you have a picture of the Poulin in color? The border color would be the exact same color right? I thought you needed any close up for the font style. Was just hoping to find a good color shot 'cause it's easy on my eyes, that's all The more the merrier, especially when a lot of those old 80s shots seem so elusive.
