Anything in particular (besides the lack of strap and double elbow) that made them any worse than the US or El Salvador made versions? lfcjari37
I wasnt aware that Miro Satan played for the Pittsburg Pengiuns, but if the Mel Grey groop say he did thats good enough for me. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pittsburg-Pengiuns-Game-Worn-Hockey-Jersey-Miroslav-Satan-No-81-Size-52-2008-09-/151542856473?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276 Edited January 7, 2015 by lfcjari37

Perhaps he was planning to return it after the game so he just tucked the tags in.
Devilsguy
That description has all sorts of lolz on it. If the story is true, this is maybe the 5th or 6th time this year alone that I have heard someone buying or winning a knockoff with a fake Meigray "Groop" at a charity auction. I know that is for charity but that's a pretty low thing to do. amonte78
Unbelievable: I sold a gamer on ebay. The buyer paid me. Then he messaged me that he didn't realize I lived in Europe and that he had bad experiences with overseas shipping and wanted to cancel the purchase. He said that it was OK if I still wanted to ship it. So I did, I shipped it (insured registered shipping with tracking) on December 29. After that, the buyer started worrying more and more about the whereabouts of the jersey, because tracking wasn't updated after December 30 ('Item was shipped country of destination). Meanwhile he put the jersey on ebay, using pictures of my item and more or less copying my auction. He said that he had a potential buyer, which caused even more stress. Then he opened a case against me about a non-received item. I contacted Dutch postal services, they can start an investigation after 30 days (which is January 27, the buyer is aware of this information). Now the case has been escalated, because the buyer doesn't think I shipped it at all (despite the tracking code). Anyone also had an experience like this? AlereFlammam
I would let eBay and Paypal know. Phone them and tell them your situation. It helped me out when I was getting screwed by my guy in California. Let them know the item is still in transit and you have proof of shipment and the delivery standard for that type of shipping. Although if you shipped it on December 29 and it's now January 11, that is a lengthy shipping time. I hope it isn't going on a boat! (Canada post has that option - 4 to 6 weeks for delivery to Europe) The guy sounds like a douçhe for listing the jersey before he even gets it and not even realizing that it was an Aaron Boogaard, not Derek. Hope it works out for you
Silverback53
I cannot understand how people can live and deal like that. Hopefully it al ends well for you, Gerard.
dsl135
Definitely report it to eBay and PayPal. That's ridiculous.
mfitz804
Report it. Pretty sure they'll make him wait longer. Also, I believe once he receives it, he won't be able to make a "not as described" claim, I think they only allow one dispute.

Also is a size 44 close to a L like he states in the description? Anyone know a rough estimate what the 44 would be close to in todays sizes, 52? 50?
TMLFAN
Yes they are legit. The 48 would be equivalent to a large. 44 is small, lak74 is the king of comparing sizes but I'm thinking a 44 would be like a 46 or 50 in edge.
