Skid Mark
"Game Worn" Bure and Gilchrist Jerseys This dude is a major D-bag. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Helped him for 2 hours with how to tell the diff between game worn and just retail authentics, poorly customized authentics at that. He was all thankful and nice, a typical Canadian, haha. Then he emails me like a nut, telling me I'm wrong, they are game worn and I'm an A-hole, so maybe he is American after all. SO PLEASE F WITH HIM!! quick update after he messaged me 3 more times: He keeps changing them from "$1800 game worn",to $400, then back to $1800, then back $400. So if you see them at $400 I guess Dr. Jekyll is back. Edited February 2, 2018 by forzzaazzurri

Brilliant!
So it might be a bag of poop.
jsh139
Bid up to $117.50 with no clear indication of how or even if it’s customized. Silly people.
Brilliant!
Yeah but even if it's a legit blank...which it does appear to be judging by the fabric and the collar stitching, it's easily worth $175-200. That version is probably the nicest the Isles ever wore. Before all the navy and other horrors.
jsh139
Interesting. I’m not an Isles aficionado. I woulda assumed $125 tops for a blank and not much more for something incorrectly customized. With 9 days to go on the auction I’m sure it’ll climb higher. jsh139
Speaking of 1.0s (in the other thread) here’s a couple retail 1.0s I noticed. Not a terrible price. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F112792110275

Hockey Bob
Don't see those come along very often. I can't stand those fight straps, They look so cheap. That's not the same one they put in the gamers is it?
Hawks2797
With the 54-R necktag that should be a "Made In Berlin Jersey" Same ones the team had. Nice Find if you ask me! Edited February 6, 2018 by Hawks2797

Size 54. So this one arrived today and it's an oddity. The neck tags do not say anything about being made in Berlin. (or anywhere for that matter) Everything about it is constructed just as any other mesh jersey I've ever owned / gussets, double elbows, heavy weight stitching throughout. The feel is of really high quality. *BUT the Starter logo and the NHL badge are massive! I don't have the ability to post pics but the NHL badge alone measures about an inch and a half tall / wide. Anybody ever come across one of these before - any details?
furiousd
The badge and logo on this 1997 gamer look pretty big to me. How do they compare?
Hockey Bob
That is EXACTLY the same Right down to the 2 blocks of stitching by the neck. White stiching around the lower block and blended yellow around the upper block. Where'd you come across that pic? I'd like to get a look at the neck tags from the inside. Thank you
LAK74
Neck tags on the Lang are the same as the Jagr: http://www.gamewornauctions.net/products/1997_98_Robert_Lang_Pittsburgh_Penguins_Game_Worn_Jersey_Team_Letter-7338-173.html Better view of tags here: http://www.classicauctions.net/mobile/lotdetail.aspx?inventoryid=141637&seo=darius_kasparaitis__1997_98_pittsburgh_penguins_ga Edited February 8, 2018 by LAK74

Hockey Bob
You guys nailed it! Thank you I feel much better knowing the neck tags and tail logos match. I was worried i bought a bunk-O junk-O Now,... how do I photo match it with Zero wear and list it on the Facebook group as a Game worn for triple what I paid?
