headingwest
Hi, I have Jari Kurri Jokerit jersey with the number 71 from around year 1997 to 2000. Kurri usually had 17 but I recall that he used 71 during the lockout. The jersey was a gift from my sister working in Finland. How can I find out if this is legit? Thanks, Jim. FlyersFan376
If you upload a picture through imgur or another hosting website and link it here I have no doubt someone on here could tell you if your jersey is legit or not
headingwest
Jokerit were kind enough to respond to my inquiry with them. It turns out this is a Jersey from the 1994 NHL lockout when Jari Kurri returned to Finland and played with the number 71 for a brief period. Another player, Sami Wahlsten was already playing for Jokerit as 17 which was Kurri's normal number.
