I have a blank Nordiques "home" jersey, they are it think Ultrafil. I can't tell you until Sunday morning, the dragon lady is asleep upstairs and there is NO AMOUNT OF MONEY that could make me enter that room and possibly wake her up.

ETA: Who bought the North Stars on Ebay? I just got back from a business trip and went to buy it and it was gone.....

If I'm not mistaken, the Sabres actually used that retro style in their last home game of the year that year.

Yep, April 6th against the Devils in the final home game the Sabres skated warmup in their black jerseys, and when they returned to the locker room they found the blue & gold hanging in their lockers for the game, total surprise. None of the players were aware of the switch from what I know.

First time I see one!! I've learned something today!!

Is it Ultrafil or Airknit?

The Vintage series remakes are airknit, so in that respect they are different from the Nords originals. They are also cut like the rest of the 6100's, so the arms are wider than on the originals.

There's always a first time Mike.

Checked my bins and I have a Sabres Vintage authentic and a Canucks Flying V Yellow authentic. I know I had a Canucks rink blue one that came with the "V" patch on the right chest,

I sold to someone on here.

I've been looking at V550 replicas, and I'm confused about the different size charts out there. For example:

Here http://www.sportsk.com/vintage-ccm-hockey-jersey-sizes.htm it says a Medium is 26" pit to pit and a Large is 29" pit to pit, but

Here http://shop.nhl.com/HelpDesk/Sizing_Chart?sizeChartNavState=/league/Vintage%20Hockey/brand/CCM/genderagegroup/Mens/agegroup/Adult/category/Jerseys
it says a Medium is 27" pit to pit and a Large is 28" pit to pit, and

Here http://www.icejerseys.com/Bus/B33/S5/ContentPages/sizeChart.html

it says a Medium is 23" pit to pit and a Large is 25.5" pit to pit.

I'm 5'11 and 190 lbs and wear a 50 or 52 in an Edge 2.0, and a 50-54 in an Indo Edge (I don't like the fit to be overly loose). Maybe someone with personal experience could clarify the v550 sizing for me? Much appreciated!

I'd say the IJ chart is the most accurate. I have a number of medium V550's, and they are exactly 23" pit-to-pit, just like a size 46 1990's CCM.

I'm measuring from the 2 innermost gusset points, the same 2 points between which, if you measure a 1990's CCM, you get a pit-to-pit of exactly half the jersey's number size.

They are all airknit.

Thanks LAK74. That makes it really clear. I have a couple of 90s CCMs in size 48 and the width measurement you described comes to 24. I'm going to go with the large - better a little big than too small.

Sorry, that would be me. I stumbled across it this weekend and couldn't resist. I've been wanting a North Stars for ages and this was too good to pass up.

As far as the original gamers from whatever season that was... Does anyone have a blues and could let me know how the lettering was done? (Stacked, kiss cut, or whatever that crap custom crafted did with screen print middle layer and then stiched over it).

This is the first time I've seen a Sharks jersey with the Vintage neck tags:

That was my reaction when I saw the Avs alumni game worn jerseys

They had the same vintage neck tag as the sharks jersey and i had no idea they had them

Looks like they are adding some new ones to the vintage series

I think they used yellow but I'm not a very good judge of color. I had several of them at one point but not in a while so I don't have pictures anymore.
