I assumed they were a one-off, 50th Anniversary celebration game jersey. I liked the gold numbers for that, but not for a jersey being worn that much. If it is for just this season and they never plan to wear it again, I think it will be a nice touch. The part that bothers me the most is the collar. Looks out of place and makes it look like one of those ProJoy jerseys or one of those pseudo-jerseys you see for sale at places like Walmart and Target. In real life, I doubt anyone would be confused by "what color?" as a replacement for colorway/design/scheme/combo/whatever. Unless we're talking about nursing shoes. I don't like the pattern to the jersey itself, where the colors look very blocky and segmented, rather than designed to flow together. Perhaps its petty of me, but when your biggest rival's main colour is gold, you don't have a gold dominant jersey. Not to mention the gold looks so out of place with orange.
