jsh139
I had a jersey customized by Ruberti's recently and the twill they used for the back numbers is ridiculously stiff. Like, the same stiffness as the front crest. Will it work itself out in time, or is there something I can do to speed the process up a little? I've tried washing the jersey and that hasn't helped. Is it normal for it to be so dang stiff? Did they just use too much adhesive, maybe? Thanks as always for any advice.
TMLFAN
Twill comes with different types of adhesive backs. Probably the twill they use is stiff because of the adhesive.
jsh139
Yeah, I figured as much. So, do you think it'll always be so stiff or will it kind of "break in" eventually?
TMLFAN
If it just hangs in your closet it'll probably not change much. If you wear it and wash it on a somewhat regular basis it'll probably wear and loosen a bit
jsh139
Cool thanks. Sounds like it's somewhat normal.
