How much difference?

How much difference is there from a Reebok authentic jersey size 52 and a size 48? I'm debating on getting a black Ducks authentic jersey in a size 48, but I'm wanting to make sure I'm not gonna get anything too small. The size 48 is the only size in black that is left. Is it about the size as a replica XL? I know the 48 is a Large size for authentics, but since authentics also run bigger I'm curious. Any help would be appreciated. I'm wanting to get down to one of the local sports stores here to try on a Coyotes authentic size 48, but it could be a few days before I get to one.

I'm debating on this size too because my 56 is pretty huge for me, (I'm 6'2", 230 lbs.).

Thanks!

Size 48 jerseys are shorter especially the sleeves. I'm 5'8" 170 lbs. and I wear size 52. Most of my jersey from season 00-01 until now are size 52. I´d go for size 52 if were you.

I'm 6'0", 207lbs, 48 fits me perfectly and is like a replica size L. I'm amazed that a store in Phoenix has an authentic one in stock. For what it's worth, I have a Reebok Mighty Ducks 3rd in size 46 and it's more like an M to me than an L, so I am really on the fence as far as getting it numbered. You don't really KNOW if 48 is too small until you try it on, unfortunately.

I think how you want it to fit plays a part in this as well. I am 5'9" and 190 and wear 48/Large. I don't know how well a 46 would fit me as I haven't tried one on yet (though do have one coming so will find out).

I'm 5' 9" and 170 lbs. and I wear a 48, which I consider to be the same as a replica Large. I can also wear a 52. Keep in mind I also live in the Great White North and usually have a sweatshirt on underneath. I would think at 6' 2", 230, you'd need a 52, even without a sweatshirt under it.

One area that will be different is the opening at the bottom. If you have a waist size larger than 36, you might find a 48 to be tighter down there. Though the Reebok/CCM/Koho jerseys seem to have a wider cut than they did 8-10 years ago.

I'm 5'10ish and about 165 and I wear 46's in authentic and Large in replica.

I've been trying to go off of my Koho Mighty Ducks third jersey, which is a large. The sleeves are pretty small, which doesn't bother me too much, but the chest is rather tight. Highly doubtful I'll own another large replica. I'll know more tomorrow if I'm lucky. I'm gonna go to the local sports store and check out a 48 and see what I think.

As for the Duck authentic jerseys. I've seen a few white 52's around, but the black authentics have been very hard to find. I saw two on EBay this past weekend which were both snapped up in a period of close to two days. I had a chance to get one awhile back, but didn't jump on it. I'm really kicking myself now for that one. I'm probably gonna have to settle for a black replica and maybe get a white authentic.

I got a chance to try out a size 48 authentic and I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised. It fit about like an XL replica and the sleeves weren't as tight or as short as I feared. The waist was a tad tight, but once I get some lbs off of me, I probably won't have a problem with that. Now, all I gotta wait for is payday on Friday and I'm gonna try to snap up one of these soon to be rare Anaheim black authentic jerseys. SWEET! Thanks for all the help everyone, I appreciate it. There is one left.
