Ripping jerseys to shreds in MLB

29 posts in this topic

Anyone besides me that hate seeing MLB jerseys being ripped to pieces after a walk off win?

And imagine seeing that in the NHL after an overtime win.

In fairness, the current material the MLB jerseys are made of is pretty much asking for it.

I thought they were the same as the last model except the added ventilation and the flex base diaper.

Clearly, these uniforms are not made in Indonesia. High quality!

Brilliant edit: PG-13 por favor.

That's true, the numbers are lighter but I don't think it makes the jersey look worse.

I am generally of the mindset that heavy is better, but owning two of the new flex base models with the kiss cut I still think they look sharp. I wasn't financially in a spot to drop coin on authentic MLB jerseys until the spring when the switch was made, so I don't have a ton of experience with them. The Cubs home and Alt jerseys are beautiful, kiss cut or not.

i got a lot of both the old aut. cool base and the new flex base.

cool base felt like quality, flex base with kiss cut feels flimsy.

still US made though.

Yeah, I can see that. On a two color kit, layered definitely is more substantial. On a three color kit, having the top layer kiss cut is pretty money though.

could be, but not many MLB teams have 3 color numbers though.

Get the baseball junk out of this site.

back to hockey, noticed the Senaturds changed their font and are using the Adidas perforated 💩.

so far that's Ottawa and Vegas that I've noticed have it.
