lafountain
During tonights Red Wings vs Avalanche game on Versus, they mentioned that by playing this game Chris Chelios becomes the 2nd oldest player to play in an NHL game. Chelios at the age of 45 years and however many days now only trails Gordie Howe who played in the NHL until the age of 52. It is amazing how good Chelios still is at his age and he says he wants to play at least until the age of 50.

I saw Chelios play for the University of Wisconsin in person!

Brilliant!
The guy really is a freak of nature. And unlike Clemens, there's no steroid talk surrounding him. He truly is a class-act and quite a credit to the game.
ZoomZoom18
I'd love to see him playing in his 50s in the NHL. Here's hoping he's able to!
