AHL hem Patches and Canuck Place patches

Refreshing! (Not quite a Sprite commercial 🤤 but good enough.) Canucks fans, buy these patches! One day you will NEED them!

Ok, if you do a McDavid on the white, you can probably reuse the nameplate if you need to, though I'd assume Elite Sportswear must have matching material so you may not need to go to those lengths. I sent mine to Keener so I needed to reuse a Russell plate for a McDavid since he doesn't have the material.

    "Hockey Music" ?

What constitutes "Hockey Music"? I like lots of the music at the games and etc. I've been listening to the complete collection of the video game music from NHL 02 - NHL 19. I like most of it. Can anyone recommend similar music? Sometimes I need something a little lighter than Black and Thrash metal...

That’s wise, they always sell better during the season when hockey is on more people’s minds.

What was the fight strap stitching like on the MIC team stock with retail tags? Double? or Single? Any way, I just ordered a Darnell Nurse Adidas Orange TI jersey. When I get it, I'll post pics. But... $530 CAD shipped :-( Will probably owe customs fees, too. I'm gonna get my white one crested with McDavid in a couple weeks. Also, I will sell my McDavid Indo some time this season, when hopefully it will sell for more than it would now.

    Yup I hate that also.

Just had this happen to me on some outrageously priced jerseys. I made a fair offer and they ignored it.

    eBay version 4.0

My number one pet peeve. It takes 10 seconds to just decline an offer. If it’s a lowball offer just immediately decline it and if it’s a little lower than you want than counter offer. What’s so hard? No, the seller has to be a freakin jerk just ignoring it so it expires. Way to go tough guy, you showed them.

When I used to sell tons of stuff on eBay with the make-an-offer option, I’d hold off until the very end of the expiration in case someone offered more, or finally bought it outright. If not, I’d accept their offer in the final minutes. It worked in my favor on several occasions. Maybe your seller just forgot, because that happened to me as well. As a seller, what I dislike about the offer option is if it doesn’t meet your reserve, you aren’t even notified someone made an offer. I believe it would help many sellers realize their perceived value is much higher if they received five offers on something lower than their reserve, but falling consistent with eachother. Then, maybe they’d lower their price just enough to entice someone to finally purchase the item.

If memory serves - when you list an item eBay automatically adds the "Make Offer" option. I've had items I made an offer on, it timed out and I sent the seller a message, They said they never received my offers and we ended up working a deal I would give that a try and see if you can get any traction

I agree with Hockey Bob - sometimes I track down the dirty stuff if I can get it for a steal. There hasn't been much out there I haven't been able to make clean. Now for a quick eBay rant. If you list something with make an offer - and you receive an offer - RESPOND TO THE OFFER!!! I don't care if you decline the second you receive it, but why just sit and let it expire? Isn't the whole point is to negotiate until you can find a happy price for both of you? I don't know why someone wouldn't at least counteroffer back, even if my offer is ridiculously low in your eyes, counteroffer a ridiculously high offer back. It at least gets a conversation started. It drives me nuts to sit there a day and never get a response.

I have yet to meet a lot of stains I can't get out. Glue / heat pressed vynil is a different animal, but I have seen success stories of that "Mongo's restoration" guy on Facebook so someone knows how to do it. Pizza, Mustard, beer, Kool-Aid, blood, boogers - go ahead and dirty that buggar up, sell it to me for 1/3 the value and I'll take the chance. I have a small pile of stuff that I wasn't successful on and I keep them around as test material for the next chemical that may eventually save them. If not, I can always salvage fight straps, crests, make name plate material and so on.

I usually assume that, because if they “probably” would, I would know by the time I was selling it. But, I’ve learned as noted above that some people don’t try. Some people will also wear jerseys with arena food stains all over them because they are afraid to wash a jersey. I mean, we’re a page of knowledgeable collectors and we have a thread on how to properly wash a jersey, so that information is needed here too. Drives me crazy when people are like “I just soaked it in cold water” or “I used very little detergent”.

I’m always a little wary of the auctions that say “some stains, but they may come out”. Because, to me, that might mean that they tried to get them out, but couldn’t. Like, “I dunno, you might be able to get them out...I just couldn’t.” Ya know?

    Customizer's Current Wait Times Thread

No. Their normal timeframe is 8-12 weeks, and usually it winds up being longer. I have an order I put in May 2 that they told me will be done this week. Using that as a reference, you are t even close. The fact that they are “current” doesn’t make it faster unless it’s a team they currently do on-ice jerseys for. But, that said, this is the time when they are busy doing all of their team orders for the upcoming season, so collector orders are always slower. In sum, you probably have another month before you are done.

EPS received 2 current style bruins jerseys of mine on june 24.... shouldn't they been done by now? should i ask them, or is this normal time frame.

But not more than the guy who sold you the blank at his cost right? (it actually helped me too as I needed that $ to buy 6 MIC Adidas all at once)

There's also a growing number of people who simply don't want to put out the effort to clean the jersey, even if it means more $ in their pocket. Kind of like that buyer mfitz had that would rather spend ridiculous amounts of money for his already customized jerseys than send it to EPS himself.

So, trying to not get too excited about what could be nothing, but. I saw some MiC team stock for this coming season (don’t ask, I can’t tell where/how). Anyways, the team stock came with retail adidas tags in the collar, in addition to the usual TI card at the end of one sleeve. Thought it was very odd to see retail adidas tags on team stock.

Same. Just like with edge 2.0’s eventually stock will get out into the market. I wouldn’t get too excited about JB getting them though unless you’re cool paying $500 for a blank

I won't go for the Indo Adidas as I bought one and promptly returned it. Poor quality, loose threads, bad fit and so on. I have gotten my hands on 7 MIC Adidas so far and they are about as good as the 2.0's (similar quality) but compared to the Indo Ady's it's night and day. It's got me a little concerned about the direction of collecting. I feel it's gonna drive the price way up because the current styles are not availible in the quantities to feed all of our needs - but I also feel it's going to hurt the value of 2.0's and 6100 style because people won't have extra $ to spend on older stuff when they want the latest and greatest. For the sake of my collection I don't want the older stuff to become boring or lose value but what are ya gonna do... I hope I'm getting my point across the right way as it's Friday and I'm just trying to chime in beofre I kick off the work day. Enjoy the weekend everybody!
