OK, I didn't see that coming. The San Jose Sharks fired coach Ron Wilson today.

Here's an interesting article on FoxSports.com last week regarding Wilson. I thought the part about his relationship with Marleau was interesting.

I think he's gonna end up finding a job rather quickly, with openings in Colorado, Atlanta, and Toronto already and probably a few more as the summer wears on.
I'm not too surprised that he's gone, I was kinda half expecting it to happen. The Sharks are too talented a team to be continuing to get bumped out in the second round.

Well I was hoping Wilson would end up in Atlanta as their new coach, but TSN is reporting that Wilson is close to an agreement with the Leafs to become their new coach.
