I'm pretty sure with Invision forums there is a part in the admin panel that allows you to make custom emoticons. Would it be cool to place emoticons for each team, or other nifty emoticons. I mean the current ones are cool, but new hockey themed ones would add a nice little touch. There could even be a best emoticon contest where graphics artists could participate and such. Just a thought, what do you think?

Yes, there is the ability to add your own custom emoticons. So if anyone can create or find a selection of hockey themed emoticons (or any other interesting collection), we would be interested in adding them.

I think hockey themed ones would be good. I like our smilies... I think they're effective for some things, but maybe we could pop some helmets and visors on them? We could also have other hockey themed things, but the faces are helpful for expressing certain things. This isn't my area of graphic design, so I'll leave this to someone else, but I'm in favor of it.

I too am in favor of it, not capable of doing it myself though.

Thanks, I have now added these and some others to the BB. Also, since I know a few of us here have no lif (come on... you know who you are), go ahead and try to create some unique smileys with the Smiley Generator. I just made this one: :doh: ... and I'm sure you guys can come up with some better ones (that quasi-helmet looking thing can be found with STUFF option #8). So knock yourselves out and I will add the best ones to the BB.
