Francois Beauchemin will be a very good pickup for someone.

Both sides are so sick of each other I expect Max to go to the KHL. If the Sabs could add a d-man and another pure scorer, I think they will be set. Instead, I think they will just bring up the young kids and keep under their self imposed cap. I don't know if that's going to cut it for next season.

I'm kinda surprised both he and Kalinin lasted as long with the team as they did.

Gotta figure some team out there is willing to take on his veteran leadership though, if he wants to continue to play.

What?
Anyways...The Pens re-signed Guerin and Adams! Jussi Jokinen's staying in Carolina, and if you're a Caps fan, they extended qualifying offers to 8 players! Hopefully Fehr and Gordon will be back.

I didn't expect that one, logged onto TSN during one of my breaks at work and saw that and was quite surprised. Somebody is gonna be the oddman out in Chicago and I don't imagine that it is Kane or Toews.

G - Dwayne Roloson (former Oiler) signs with the Islanders - 2 yr/$5 mill
D - Scott Niedermayer (Ducks) re-signs with Anaheim - 1 yr/$6 mill
W - Colton Orr (former Ranger) signs with Toronto - 4 yr/$4 mill
W - Donald Brashear (former Cap) signs with Rangers - 2 yr/$2.8 mill
W - Mike Knuble (former Flyer) signs with Capitals - 2 yr/$5.8 mill
My thoughts:
- Roloson to Islanders for that much means DiPietro is probably still ailing.
- Rangers upgrade from Colton Orr to Donald Brashear, but I still can't forgive that hit on Betts.
- Glad to see Knuble move from that horrible orange to a nice shade of red.
