Okay so i ordered a jersey on July 18th, it's an LA Kings 3rd jersey, with brown 23 and the c on the front. For about a month it's been in customization, and was to be sent out August 27th. Today is September 1st and i had to call IJ customer service to see what was up. I understand that there was a huge demand for jerseys with the $30 customization, but to get my hopes up and say it was going to be sent out on Aug 27th, then switch it to maybe Friday, pisses me off. I was going to send in 4 more Kings jerseys and a team Canada jersey, but i will find another way to get them done now. Not the best way to build customer service.

I can understand the frustration of having your shipping date pushed back. As you stated, the demand had something to do with the pushback, their original estimated ship date to you was probably based off of a normal workload. With the increased amount of customization to be done, some delays were likely to be expected.
All I can say about your other Kings jerseys, you can trust icejerseys to get it done and get it done right. If it isn't done right, they will do everything they can to make it right. I understand that you may be hesitant due to delays, all I can say is I have ordered a lot of jerseys from icejerseys and only one was ever delayed and that was the Sabres "slug" jersey when they first came out.
All I can say about your other Kings jerseys, you can trust icejerseys to get it done and get it done right. If it isn't done right, they will do everything they can to make it right. We are sorry that we are a few days behind on this jersey. Unfortunately, some orders can be slightly delayed when we have such a huge spike in volume due to a major promotion. The purpose of our Estimated Ship Date is to give an approximate timeframe for when we predict an item will ship to the customer. This is an automated calculation, and sometimes we need to manually adjust the date upon review of production volumes. The purpose of the ESD is not to 'get your hopes up' and then disappoint you. Under normal circumstances, 95% of the time we ship by the ESD, and often well in advance of it. If you are in need of a jersey by a specific date, it is always best to call and speak with us and we will assess the situation to determine whether we can meet your required deadline.

You know what else pisses me off? People who register at a board just for the express purpose of bitching about their problems. Get a life. Not a great impression that you've made for your first post.

With all due respect Rabinsurance, this board was created so people could provide their opinions both about the subject at hand as well as icejerseys itself both good and bad. Any company knows that bad reports can be a good thing as it shows areas they may need to improve on. While the board has expanded quite a bit from the original idea, the original intentions are still there and that is the main purpose of the whole Boxscore Forum.
