Hi everyone,

I'm looking to complete an original six collection for a display in my basement. I already have this New York American CCM Heritage 3100 Series Sweater:

Posted Image

I also bought the Boston Bruins Heritage Sweater:

Posted Image

When I took the Bruins sweater out of the bag and put it on the mannequin I use to dispaly them, I noticed that the length is shorter than the Americans and the tag on the front hem is also different.

Obviously CCM/Reebok no longer manufactures the Americans sweater and I know CCM/Reebok produced the same Bruins style with the Americans from hem tag.

I'm wondering if anyone can help me track down the original CCM 3100 Series Sweater with the front hem tag like the Americans sweater posted above.

I'm looking for the following:

Toronto Maple Leafs

Posted Image

Chicago Blackhawks

Posted Image

Montreal Maroons

Posted Image

Detroit Red Wings

Posted Image

Again, I'm looking for the above CCM Heritage jerseys with the smaller NHL Heritage tag on the front hem, not the taller NHL Vintage tag. More specifically, I'm looking for them in size XL.

Please let me know if you can help and I appreciate any leads.

Happy collecting!

Do you check eBay?
Of course that is one of the best places to look.

I saw a Detroit jersey like that last week or so.

It's gone now unfortunately.

Good luck!

Thanks for the link.

I do check eBay regularly. I did a little research and the new Reebok/Roger Edwards Heritage Sweaters are the 8100 series according to River City Sports.

The main reason that the new 8100 series won't work for my display is that they are cut shorter than the 3100 series. The NY Americans is the 3100 series and it will be the feature of my Original 6 display.

Please let me know if you come across anything.

Thanks,

I have the Canadiens one. Its great to wear just as a sweater. Got it at their team store too, when I didn't really know much about Jerseys. WAAAAAAAAAAY over paid haha.

Hey Casey.

Somewhere around here I've got a box of Heritage sweaters; I'll see if I can track them down in the next couple of days.

Not sure if this one would suffice for what you want (3100 vs. 8100), but this Maple Leafs jersey is on ebay and is ending in about 1 hour (9:00 pm Central US):

Casey, if that is your NY Americans sweater in the picture in your post, I have a quick suggestion. Please do not use that type of wire hangar with that sweater. It will leave stretch marks in it.

Hey guys,

Thank you for the suggestions. I'm looking for the blue Maple Leafs sweater like the one in my first post.

The Americans jersey in the photo that I posted is not mine. The one I own is already on a mannequin in my basement. It's just waiting to be joined by the other sweaters in the exact same size.

After looking at the jerseys again last night, I believe the 8100 series size XL is smaller than the 3100 series size XL. Maybe if I go up to an XXL that will work. Does anyone have an 8100 series and might be willing to post the measurements - chest, length from back of collar to bottom hem, sleeve length, etc.?

Thanks for your help, guys. I really appreciate it.

Happy collecting!

Matt,

Thank you for the link. That is the new Roger Edwards series of Heritage sweaters.

I'm specifically looking for the 3100 Series Heritage sweater that was produced at the same time as the New York Americans sweater that I have to ensure they are all the same size.

Thanks again.

Happy collecting,

Is this one any closer? The image on the auction appears to be the same as the image you have in your post... however, the jersey in the auction is a Large, and I think you're looking for XL... hope we're getting warmer! Good luck

Oh I'm sorry, I apologize. I wasn't reading your above description very carefully. :glare:

But hey, if you eventually can't find that style you like (and I hope you do find it!), you have a backup with SportsK.

Nathan and HockeyMusic,

Thank you for the information. Not quite what I'm looking for, but I feel we're getting closer.

It stinks that I have to be discriminant on style and size based on the change between the 3100 Series and the 8100 Series.

Half the fun is in the hunt.

Happy collecting!
