Said his friend purchased the jersey at a game, 100% authentic and looking to get rid of it cause he needs the money, $100 Not sure but based off what I learned here it doesn't look the part. Especially lacking the seam on the back of the neckline... I've been browsing craigs and ebay looking for a Hawks edge, tough to come by under $175- not 100% sure the rules here but if anyone is interested in lightening their load feel free to message me, seems there is a lot of crap floating around. Brilliant! Posted March 7, 2011 Report Share Posted March 7, 2011 Actually, both of those are good. The first, like said, is a very reputable seller and a friend of mine as well. The second one looks good as well. The Starter fight strap checks out and the glacier twill is a good sign too. The only suspect thing may be the name font on the second one but I'm not 100% on that. It was directly embroidered onto the game jersey. Game jersey were made in Berlin, we all know. 2) Griffinfood did sell these Avs fake jerseys with CHS patch, and sold a ton of those. The most difficult fakes to distinguish are the Starter Avs Fakes. Cause the buttons on the fight strap are literally identical to those on the real Starter... Just my 2 cents... I'm pretty sure I've seen reproductions of it out there before though. Actually, the more I look at the second one, the less I like it. The silver layer of twill looks weird to me. HawksFan719 Posted March 7, 2011 Report Share Posted March 7, 2011 The wordmark on that 2nd one looks terrible, the A is taller than the other letters and it all looks really sloppy. plus if you look where the strap is sewn in the twill block doesn't look big enough or the right size.
