I just went and saw the movie "The Rocket" about Maurice Richard.

It's pretty good. 4 out of 5 from me.

It was filmed beautifully and the classic jerseys were a treat to see. And so was Richard's wife, Julie LeBreton. She was beautiful in this movie.

The story was a lot about Richard's being a French Canadian in an English dominated world, so perhaps for many it is something we wouldn't fully understand being English speakers and would wish there would have been more focus on the hockey itself and his playing career though. Still, I felt it was time well spent and would recommend at least checking out the website to see if you are interested enough to go see it if you get the chance.
