Nice pickups!! Is the Cat a TI? And did you happen to get a look at any of the WC stuff they're working on? Like say the practice jerseys...?

NHL.com didn't mention anything about tax or shipping when I was instant messaging them last night, but whatever. I'd much rather be out $16 than to keep the jersey. I did debate about ordering a blank 54 to strip the crest and use the jersey itself for shinny, but at $140 it wasn't worth it. The 25% off coupon that most of us used last week no longer worked on jerseys, but NHL.com was willing to offer it to me on a new order if I wanted. I declined If it's anything like last year's WC or SS jerseys, they'll be on sale at Dicks or online for 50-60% off. If I find one for $80 I'll buy it just to remove the crest.

    Nameplates Needed

I have black air knit if anyone needs any. It will need to be cut for individual nameplates as it’s currently a large square of fabric removed from a donor jersey

The MIC Adidas jerseys I've owned didn't have it either

This has paper backing material around the numbers AND the crest. Just around the stitches themselves, not the full paper backing.

Wait, what? Is someone else doing this year's jersey or are they not offering this customization to the public? If not, I'd have to imagine EPS or Keener will be able to do it. I'm chatting with NHL.com right now to get a return label

Can't speak for other indo-zero jerseys, but these numbers/letters are all felt and fully sewn including a matching nameplate. I play stick and puck and drop ins in a white Team USA WCOH jersey from time to time. Wears pretty quickly, but it does breathe pretty well which I like.

Yeah, sorry dude. One part of me wants to return it. The other part wants to hack the hell out of it, remove the crest, and sew it and the shoulder patch onto a black MIC practice jersey. I'd like to imagine that the Hawks will what Buffalo and New York did last WC and wear physical crests, not iron on circles on their practice jerseys. The circular Hawks crest could easily cover the rubber iron on crest of a standard practice jersey. Thoughts? I have done crazier things to jerseys... [/img] [/img]

Really debated about picking one of these up because it's not an actual on-ice authentic, but the chances of those becoming available are zero unless I spend stupid money on a gamer. So I ordered a Kane from NHL.com and geez... had you told me this jersey was a Chinese knockoff, I would have believed you. The crest is great (felt, chain stitching, somewhat substantial), but the jersey quality as a whole and the felt numbers? They feel like absolute garbage. Can't explain it any other way. It feels absolutely horrendous. As much as I love the design of this jersey I don't think I can keep it. I would never wear something as cheap feeling as this. Going to sit on it until I get back from the holidays but this is almost certainly being sent back. Last photo of the interior. This is how the stripes along the waist and sleeves are put together. It's multiple laters of white on the inside and then multiple layers of black for the stripes on the outside. It's an absolute mess and feels terrible when you're wearing it Will take real photos once there's better light. It's already dark out and these were taken with my phone

The cheapest I see is $595. Hell, they're charging $399 for a friggin practice jersey!

The Current Situation of the Secondary Market

But that's the Flyers. They don't count. Nobody likes them

The Current Situation of the Secondary Market

Funny, I was going to put 54 in my original reply since that's the smallest TI I've found, but even they get snatched up really quick

I think it also depends on sizes. You want a 58? Those can be had all day long. You want a 50 or 52? Good luck.

    third jerseys are back

That's what I'm most curious about. Looking back I'm bummed I didn't pick up a 50th ann simply because the number etching was so cool.

    The Want List

I tried to do the same thing for a collegiate jersey I'm redoing. Couldn't find any CCM patches. I considered going to a local embroidery shop and having them create the logo, but instead I bought a (youth) replica with the colors I needed off ebay for $20. The rest of the jersey I cut up for nameplates. I may have an extra black w/ white lettering CCM patch, but it's the larger kind for the back of the jersey, not the smaller kind for the front.

Retail authentics are made in Indonesia although the quality is more like old Reebok Premiers. Fanatics sells ‘premier’ style jerseys that are more like long sleeve shirts. Game worn jerseys are made in Canada and totally different quality/material than Indo stuff. Only available as game worn/team issued when you can find them

    third jerseys are back

I would say so because it’s the least ‘jersey’ ever made. Like others have said, it looks like some crappy workout shirt. Even the worst soccer jerseys have more design to them

Going to be difficult to pay nearly $200 for an ‘authentic’ of these but I want one

Pulling the goalie for extra skater

No different than the power play. Giving your team a man advantage should allow to you better control the puck in the opponents zone where they can't cover all the players you now have in the zone. Of course, for it to work you have to have control in their zone otherwise they have an empty net. If you're losing by 1 goal, may as well try to tie it up and force OT. If the other team scores in the empty net, you still lost but at least you gave it a shot. From a points perspective it doesn't matter if you lose by 1 or 100; a loss is a loss. Fantasy points and all those crap percentages don't mean anything in league rankings.

Wanna trade? I mean, if the XL is already too small what's the harm in having a Large instead :)
  24. mdwsta4

    It is good or not?

I reached out to them as soon as they sent the email saying they're available. They'll send you random players and they don't have blanks. Honestly, I don't see why they didn't simply print more high-profile players like Kane or Debrincat and sell them for $75 a pop. They would have flown off the shelves.

Technically a jersey pickup. Big thanks to Gewargis for hooking it up with the Mikita patches even if I don’t have a jersey to put them on. Downside about this soccer jersey is that it runs SUPER small. I got a large thinking it would be fine, but I really need to find an XL if I want to wear it. Makes me rethink a diet. Lol! [/img]
