lol... as I was reading that post and saw that I immediately thought "welp, gonna be be reading a post from mfitz soon"....

for years now Eddie O has been giving out birthday shout outs during games. during a game early on this season, he says "the Blackhawks organization would like to give a birthday shout out to Al Jourgensen"... I just about fell outta my chair.... he did write a song just for the 'hawks though, so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.

I hear ya. I thought about it as well. but, I hate the wangs and I was at that game (and game 6). plus, Seabs and I have the same b-day and he has been referred to as "birthday" for many years now. for him to be the one to score against the hated red wings and to be there to see it was.... awesome. thus, for him, no A. I'd almost say the same for Hoss considering game 5 vs Nashville.

not quite the same thing, but my Seabs jersey will be forever missing the A he now wears as he wasn't sporting one when this happened... (even though he was frequently given the A when Sharp or Keith missed time prior to being given the A before the 15-16 season)
