1. I got these back from Keener recently. They are both for sale in near mint condition. The Jets is a 91-92 size 48 and the Whalers is size 52 from the 89-90 season. PM if you are interested.
2. The numbers and logos are felt and I've added double elbows, wilson size tag though its sandow, and fight strap. It's representative of Orrs final game in 1975.
3. And one I posted about a month or so ago... The namebar has been updated.
4. Besides being for a good cause this one holds a special meaning to me in that the baby Stars won the 2014 Calder Cup on the Island of Newfoundland 4 games to 1. Patrick Nemeth scored the OT winner in the final game. Nemeth is drafted 41st overall in 2010, and Yogan was drafted in the 4th round 100th overall also in 2010 by the Rangers.
5. I'm glad you like it!
6. No the Palffy is not a gamer. I was lucky enough to find them a few years ago when a guy was blowing out his Palffy collection. Really nice price on the Eagles and this Grizzlies...
7. /Ice%20Jerseys/20160605_220815_resized_zpskoc8xctj.jpg[/img] I am not sure why the pictures are not all the same size but anyway...
8. 89-90 Whalers Airknit. Francis was in his prime scoring 101 pts that season. Supposed to have the C. 92-93 Sens Ultrafil. One of my favorite jerseys one of my favorite players. My favorite saying in hockey highlights besides Rich Peverley no relation to Nic Beverly... was Pavol Please Demitra! Both credit to Don Taylor Sportnet Pacific. And spot the glaring mistake...
9. I feel like it went from sweater to jersey when mesh came in. I know that is compelling and factual. I would base it entirely around material but we all know I tend to manufacture my own definitions so just my $.02
10. Thank you... Again l l V
11. Dude, Do it and trade it to me for this... Please? I will always appreciate that goal Nolan scored on Hasek with the 'call your shot' point up over the glove and execution in the early 2000s (maybe late 90s) ASG. As an aside, this jersey and 2 others I won't post since they are not complete were sent away in September, got them back in January with errors to 2 and a 3rd that was my mistake (No jerseybook). So round 2, I sent them away immediately and 4 months later and voila we're still 1 for 3, since the one that was originally my mistake turned out to be theirs this time (Just missing a C). I'm not naming the custom outfit, but I'm not even sure I want to take up the 2 freebees they've offered. I was borderline ill after waiting that long and paying shipping twice. All that said, I will probably take them up on it eventually.
12. I got a French Canadian jersey back that I'm going to post momentarily... but I had a couple mistakes on an order of 3 jerseys so the deal was fix it and include an original French SC100. I hope it's original, if not I won't lose sleep, but would appreciate any input.
13. I may slip this over my head later. Go Cole Harbour Captain.
14. Before I came into this thread this morning you could have quizzed me on that and I would say the stick was out of the L... Despite owning a Juneau in that very jersey. I think you are right.
15. And to answer the question of the thread it has made me rethink how I'd display my jerseys. I would not keep that big of collection because fire is always possible and would make every effort to grab what I have which would not take me a lot of effort. Heirlooms first when you have no kids or spouse.
16. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/HALF-PROCEEDS-TO-FORT-MAC-Jose-Theodore-Montreal-Canadiens-Worn-Glove-MVP-2000-/152102786982?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT For full disclosure this gesture is not about me and I want to make that very clear. I got the idea from the St.John's Icecaps, the Montreal Canadiens farm team so fitting it's a Canadiens item. My thought process is I'm not a game worn equipment collector so i could stand to part with this.
17. The golf season one. I'm on a phone sry. Looked normal size on there.
18. I personally enjoy the knit pick process and the cleaning but ya bonus when you don't have to. That said I bought a white ultrafil that I paid enough for a few years ago and recently sold it at a small discount to move it but I was shocked to find out the buyer said there was small grease spots on it. I assured him i dont cook in my jerseys... I took for granted it was clean before storing it because it was listed new. Or the guy was lying and it had no stain. It ended up costing me 8 dollars but I learned to always knit pick.
19. Absolutely. I was surprised when I got it to see it in the condition it's in.
20. I wanted that one for a long time. I prefer the jersey as it would have hung in the stall vs beat up. Just me. So essentially this means more to me than a gamer unless it was the absolute right player. But this was the right players official rookie year so a must have for me.
21. Thanks. I add it to the crowbar and stick of dynamite collection as I see it never really being pried away... this one is in mint condition too so very lucky. The one I posted on the last thread was not as old and not quite as pristine
