    third jerseys are back

Would love to see it! Those Nucks pads are great! Which tendy's pads are those? Are they for next year for the 50th when they wear the flying skate jersey?

    third jerseys are back

These things might be the highlight of the Dec.23rd game. Jerseys are gonna be awesome, but love these.
  4. I'm looking for an original Islanders 25th patch from the 1996-97 season. The repros are not really even close. If you have one and can offload it, PM me please. Thanks.

    It is good or not?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Montreal-Canadiens-Saku-Koivu-Starter-Authentic-NHL-Jersey-52-Rare-French-Tag/123124333416?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 No question it's good. I was under the impression the Starters back in the day were either typically El Salvador or Berlin made, and some made in Haiti as well. I've never seen one of these before. Seems it was made in Quebec with the french Starter tag, and the seam tag stating assembled in Canada. Anyone else seen these before, I'd imagine they're fairly rare and good quality? Great player on this one even has the appropriate kiss cut numbers.
  6. Haha, how did I know I was leaving myself open for that one with that jersey customization. TMLFan is to blame. Do not drink and sew! Thanks! I think the Baron still has some available. The blank was 160 CAD shipping included, so if you want to score one they're not a bad price.
  7. Posted this one a few months ago. Here it is with the All-Star patch. I got the ASG2016 patch from a season ticket holder who said it was included in their package so it should be legit from the team. Saros #1 TI 58G - only wore #1 for his first game. Done by Keener. 96-97 Blues Casey #30 56 - final NHL jersey style he'd wear. Done by TMLFan. 2013-14 Benn #14 TI 56. Done by TMLFan. Basically traded out my 52 and reacquired a 56. 1999 Hasek #39 52 - Original SCF99 patch. Done by Keener. 2006 Roloson #35 TI 60G - 2006 SCF patch. Done by Keener. I liked these style Oilers with the red on the palette.
  8. I think I remember reading about it here. I don't remember it being on Canucks twitter, I thought it was just an informal conversation between a member here and a Canucks store employee. Could be wrong too.
  9. Another one with a great combo of patches is that Stars, very nice! Great to find it in a 52 as well.
  10. Anyone with an original SC100 patch lying around? Please PM, ebay is not my friend when it comes to price/shipping/customs for the only 2 originals on there. Many thx. Edit: found one, thanks Tom.
  11. Thanks for the heads up, I went through my photostream and deleted a bunch I don't need
  12. The only Bertuzzi I could find was the white home jersey that's on ebay. I did find a coach Green on gwa: http://www.gamewornauctions.net/products/1996_97_Travis_Green_New_York_Islanders_Game_Worn_Jersey_Team_Letter-7180-173.html I think you should stick to your instincts and do a Linden, strip the patch and sell it to me pls. ?
  13. Great player choice, looks great!
  14. I agree. You don't want the thing, I'm telling you it's so boring it just says Detroit on the front, no logo or anything. Pretty meh really
  15. LOL. I appreciate the selfless gesture! I'm now a fan of his though (since he's no longer a Stars killer) so I'll save you the trouble. Lidstrom I was more neutral on, Sakic I've had to come a long way to be a fan of his these days, but I'm there. I just want this Heiskanen kid in Dallas to follow in Niklas' footsteps.
  16. I was thinking about this and it's the same for me, only a handful of my jerseys are of players that are still playing. I agree vintage is better. I think it's because I've had time for it to sink in how great some retired players actually were. For instance, I did not like Lidstrom, Sakic or Niedermayer, but I am very happy to now own one of each of there jerseys. It might help that the jerseys are ultrafil, but I also am now a bigger fan of them looking back at all their accomplishments than I was when they were picking apart my favorite team. I'll probably end up wanting more edge jerseys 10-15 years from now when todays greats have their place in history.

    eBay version 4.0

I'm thinking the Nordiques and Jets might be worth it at 200 even if you gotta strip it. That said I can't get excited enough to do it.

The guy with all these 52's is a good seller too. I bought a number of rare Palffy jerseys off him a few years back. I was watching last night as these were all coming up in listings but I couldn't make any work for me. Well there is one that I sorta have an eye on, but I limited out on offers. If you're thinking of making an offer the best he'll do is 200.
  19. Looks to me like there's more available. If you click on the link then go into view the seller's other items all 4 patches I posted about look to still be available.
  20. All really nice, and like you noted the condition of them look MINT. Love the Hawerchuk and the TBTC.

They don't move much on price at all which is surprising considering how much they have listed. You might have better luck contacting them through there website ... classicvintagejerseys.com I even tried an off ebay deal and they still ask a lot, I hope you have better luck
  22. Here's a seller with 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001 Cup Patches. All look authentic and only $10 Here's the 2001 https://www.ebay.com/itm/NHL-2001-STANLEY-CUP-CHAMPIONSHIP-PATCH-Free-Shipping/132819943439?hash=item1eecaf800f%3Ag%3AkAQAAOSwLZBbw6oO&LH_BIN=1
  23. Anyone have a spare original SC100 patch?
  24. Thanks guys! That's for sure the prized Casey in my collection. Just pure luck that I found the blank and that he actually played 4 games in a style so cool and unique. Keener really did a great job doing the cuts as accurately as he did based on the one image I sent him of that.
  25. Thanks, yeah it's not one you see everyday, I took a chance on a purchase out of Thailand without tracking and it turned up a gem. I knew Keener would do a good job on it. There are 2 ways the claw marks on the numbers were done in 96-97. I thought I was getting the grouped together style but it turned out Keener did them the way he did. And the pictures I've seen of them done the way mine is done were on jerseys that also have the mini Bauer logo on the front left chest so it's probably accurate to what he would have wore. Here's the 'grouped' together claw pattern:
