  1. third jerseys are back

I am guessing this picture posted on the Penguins Facebook account today might be a subtle hint of a 3rd jersey announcement coming soon, although it doesn't mention anything regarding the matter. Just funny that they use a picture of 3 guys wearing gold jerseys. Don't think this would be earth shattering news though since it's kind of expected I believe.
  2. In-hand reviews of the new Adizero Indo Jersey

Yes, that away jersey was legit. The home sold for a hair over $100 and was also legit. Even the casual fans aren't interested.
  3. In-hand reviews of the new Adizero Indo Jersey

2 Penguins Adizero jerseys (50 and 54) just sold for an average of $90 (bid) on Ebay yesterday. Nobody wants these apparently. I feel like I should have bid on them at that price though.
  4. In-hand reviews of the new Adizero Indo Jersey

Watching the Penguins tonight and just caught an up-close of the "A" on Letting's jersey during an interview and there is no doubt this is double layer twill just like their black/gold jerseys have been since introduced. I can clearly see the layers on TV. The garbage in the video above that they are trying to sell as authentic couldn't be any more inaccurate. Whether or not you want one of these jerseys is one thing. but if you decide yo do you probably don't want to order it customized from Adidas or the NHL/Fanatics online store.
  5. In-hand reviews of the new Adizero Indo Jersey

Good video...this is Dinglebears for those that don't know. That customization job is pure crap.
  6. In-hand reviews of the new Adizero Indo Jersey

thanks for the review - kind of confirmed what I suspected. If I eventually bite the bullet I definitely will not be buying a pre-customized one. Instead I'll have it sent out. Im actually probably in the minority but I like all the reviews stating that it's a little slimmer fitting than the 2.0s, especially in the sleeves - I only wear these jerseys when I go to games so it feels a little more normal to me when my arms aren't floating in huge/short sleeves. I am still holding out though. Want to be able to use a discount code, even if I have to wait s while. I think it took MLB quite a while to allow FlexBase jerseys to be purchased with a discount code (at least an entire season I believe).
  7. 2017-2018 Jersey Watch

took this from the Oilers Twitter. Looks cheap - printed vinyl numbers?
  8. 2017-2018 Jersey Watch

Thanks, appreciated. I think I'll have to see these in person before buying. And if I am being nitpicky, the "C" on the name bar looks all messed up like they let a kid cut it out with scissors. Rounded corners...cheaper material maybe? I guess I'll hold out but you're probably right - probably better off buying a blank and sending it out. Of course all of that will en up costing about $280 which I guess isn't too out of control.

What is your overall impression? The name bar looks chunky for the material it's over. Maybe it's the stitching around it. It certainly doesn't look "luxurious" I think it's all those different materials with ventilation coming together at that detail. Do you have a couple of overall pics?

Unless I am missing it I don't see any place that they are claiming these are authentic "on ice" jerseys or the "same the players wear". The true definition of authentic is "not false or copied; genuine; real". Maybe they are technically copied from on-ice jerseys but let's be real - in the real world that matters to like 0.0005 of the people that will buy these. I don't think many people would be genuinely upset I'd they realIzed this isn't the on-ice jersey.

I am relaxed lol. i was just pointing out that people must be jumping to buy these. Maybe people who didn't want to drop $300-400 on a jersey described as authentic in the past but are now more willing to buy a $225 "authentic" jersey.
  12. 2017-2018 Jersey Watch

Someone purchased the Pens away Letang 11 minutes ago according tho the NHL.com store. The price is tempting - although I am discouraged overall. I don't know if I am going to be able to make it through the weekend without buying one.
  13. Dealing with JerseyBaron

Seems like I need to start dealing with the Baron off of Ebay to save me some coin.
  14. Are Indo-Edges really that bad?

yep sounds like it! it looked really good - was that the replacement you were selling then? I almost did used Buy It Now but with Christmas around the corner I put it off and then I saw you relisted it and I never watched it but had it in the back of my mind and just totally forgot. You did pretty good on your return generally speaking, but the lesson to be learned I guess is that the Indo's do not have good resale value over MSRP. Also, I guess there are still some QC issues with them if you picked up one with loose threads. Are you much happier with a 2.0 over the Indo?
  15. Are Indo-Edges really that bad?

I believe the first run of Indo Edge's were pretty bad - at least from photos I've seen. Loose stitching and less attention paid to detail. I remember the Penguins black and gold jersey had the fight stap sewn in black thread over the white stripe and it just looked sloppy the outside. I think they've cleaned up a lot since. I almost picked up a Sharks Heritage Indo on Ebay a month ago and forgot about it. It went to auction and sold for about $180. It was the only Indo-Edge of that I've ever come across on Ebay. It looked great in the up-close pictures. Also as a side note in reference to above, I do have to say I like the fit of the Edge 1.0's better. The longer and more form fitting sleeves felt and looked better just wearing to a game or whatever. I love everything about wearing the the 2.0s except the sleeves.
