AeroFishOne
Hey guys, I won this from a fellow board member. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...T#ht_500wt_1182 Im just wondering if its going to be possible to strip this jersey. I have absolutely no experience in stripping a jersey. So i figured this one would maybe be worth trying if possible. Im not so much concerned with authenticity as much as being able to get the lettering off. Thanks for the help.

Brilliant!
Patience is the only advice I can give. Take your time while stripping it and it can all come off clean.
flountown
Do you have a seam ripper? I would invest in a nice de-sewing kit or whatever they call them. Then just keep the blade on the twill/non jersey side at all times unless absolutely necessary. And be patient.

Be patient and careful is the most important thing in mind when you are stripping it. And don't pull the seam too hard otherwise you will ruin the fabric. ZoomZoom18
Hey, on the Edge jerseys is there glue behind the numbering and lettering?
AeroFishOne
Hey, on the Edge jerseys is there glue behind the numbering and lettering? The two i stripped had a light adhesive. Didnt have much trouble getting it out with goo-goon and a wash. Note though that the two i stripped were draft day jerseys that appeared to have the correct fonts and lettering, i cant be sure that all edges are the same. The fabric is very touchy so be careful. Phoenix edge turned out alright but the colorado has a few gashes and pulls

I'm thinking I may just wait and see whom they move at the deadline (if anyone), then head to the American Airlines Center and see what I may find on a sale rack. I'm kicking around getting a game worn from MeiGray, but only if they have some good sales pop up.
AeroFishOne
There's a size 54 on ebay at the moment. A white away. Im probably going to go after that one pretty hard.

Yup, I know which one you're talking about. I'd been kicking around putting a bid on it, but I'm wanting a black one pretty bad. That and after this past Sunday I'll have some Colts gear to start thinking about here soon. I just need to find which jersey they'll be wearing for the big game.
