AeroFishOne
Incident#1 Sweet Revenge. Ovechkin knee-on knee collision with Gleason backfires. Incident#2 Poor Sportmanship leads to decapitated Goalie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAdyZFfFehc Need I say more?
lafountain
That Vokoun one was a scary sight. Glad to hear that he is gonna fly out with the team though. The Ovechkin injury could be horrible for the Caps depending on how long he is out. I know the Russian Federation is also hoping that he can still play for them in the Olympics, but now you would have to wonder if the Caps wouldn't rather he sit out the Olympics. akteon
I thoroughly enjoy watching Ovie play - much more than Crosby. However, I do think he's got a bad habbit of throwing illegal hits and the league needs to address it. The Ballard stick incident was shocking, but I'm going to quickly get tired of it being shown on every sports/news show that only shows hockey clips when its something like this. It might finally be catching up to him. Isn't this his second injury this year?

Dasle
I must say, I'm shocked the NHL actually went ahead and suspended Ovi for two games. That will give him time to rest his knee since it seems he wasn't hurt as bad as we thought. I'm just glad the NHL actually looked at it and did something. http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=508132 And a much shorter TSN article: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=300686
PYLrulz
Though I like Ovechkin, he deserved the suspension. The stick swining incident, the Panthers have to do something about that. Suspension is warranted.
