Looks like it to me.

I have a problem using Indo-Edge and "legit" in the same sentence without a "not" in there, but I agree, whatever an Indo-Edge is, that is one.

I messaged him about it. He claims it to be an authentic jersey. I made him an offer as it is an exact jersey I’m looking for to add to my Canucks collection, but he wouldn’t come down to the number I would need it to be at......

I did some research on the jersey, and the Canucks never used that style of CCM logo on their jerseys. When the went to this style of jersey in the 1985/86 season they had that really big CCM logo that was unique to the Canucks jerseys.  For this season the CCM should be like this:

https://www.gamewornauctions.net/products/1988_89_Jim_Sandlak_Canucks_Game_Worn_Jersey_BABE-2640-81.html

i don’t beleive this is an actual authentic jersey. I think it it was I though and on of those semi-pro jerseys that had the fight strap added.

Hard to see in the pics, but the CCM logo looks screened on instead of a sewn patch.  If it's screened on, it's not an authentic.

Pretty sure it is a sewn on patch, but not embroidered through the jersey.  They did this in the 1984-85 jerseys, but after that it was always embroidered. And in the 1984-85 season, they still have the 'V' jerseys, before switching to this style in 1985-86 season.

However, this is the same CCM patch they they used in those hybrid semi-pro jerseys, that had authentic crest and double elbows, but no fight strap and letter sizes.

Here is an example of a Blackhawks jersey in this "semi-pro" style I was talking about - notice how the CCM is identical...strangely enough, it also have the Cosby tag too.

Spudrock is correct; that CCM hem logo is a patch that is typical of the retail “pseudo-authentic” CCM jerseys of the mid-80’s, which looks like this:

80’s CCM logo

I think every team’s semi-pro retail jerseys had features with slight differences from the on-ice ones, but those features varied from jersey to jersey.  Like the double elbows on the Canucks one look like they have stitching with very thin double rows of thread, whereas the on-ice one had a single thicker-looking row of stitching.  On the Leafs one I have the ultrafil is thinner than normal, and the crest is really thin and doesn’t look exactly like the on-ice one.

Is this jersey legit?

Seems to be from the same seller but different account that has a bunch of the really good fake retros.

The tags seem too pristine for a 20 year old jersey.

Looks fishy to me. The NHL shield on the hem looks like it was sewn on top. The Maska Air-knit tag inside looks off. The Center Ice tags inside the neck also look off.

80’s CCM logo

I've recently started grabbing a few of these Semi-pro jerseys and they are the same material / construction of the game weight jerseys (at least as far as I can tell)
They don't come with a fight strap but they are the heavy weight Ultrafil, gussets under the arms, double elbows, and the CCM patch pictured above which isn't a pro patch but again still cool in my opinion.
Not a bad Plan B if you can't find the real deal and I've been finding them cheap!
I snagged this one and it's penned on the wash tag "54" I can't wait to strip it down and throw somebody cool on it.

That Leafs one looks better than mine.  Mine has a really thin looking crest, single row stitching on the double elbows, the leaf shoulder patches aren’t stitched down, and the jersey material is definitely lighter weight ultrafil.  Btw, is there a letter size anywhere on the neck tag, or does it just say “54?”

I'd have no problem adding one of those (of the appropriate team) to my collection. I hardly ever use the fight strap anyway, I usually take my chances. 😀

I know I'm late on this, but jersey..authentix should be avoided.  That name has been around for years and always been shady.  I don't know what kind of connection he has, but they're fakes.

His Blackhawks jerseys are legit, but at least 2-3 times overpriced. I can't speak for the other jerseys.
