All of Patch Collection's offerings seem to be reproductions. Some of them are pretty decent, but whether they are close enough to the originals for your purposes depends on how particular you are.

It's rare that you'll find authentic patches being sold in large quantities if they're from 2000 and before (not including Stanley Cup Finals or NHL2000 patches).

Ya, and quite often sellers will post a pic of an authentic patch, but send you a repro, and you're lucky if it looks anything like the original.

Whenever you see this, you're getting a repro -

hows this look (customizing?)...

http://www.ebay.com/...=item519f1948f3

and a nike size 48= a edge 2.0 size ?

is this 1 customized correctly? The V neck looks different then the ones i've seen here..is this a wrong year jersey with a Giroux kit added despite that?

The letter font on the Roenick is off. Worse though, it's a jersey foul. Roenick didn't play for the Flyers when they used Nike jerseys, so it's the wrong brand for him.

Nikes fit pretty big, I would guess a 48 might be close to an Edge 54 2.0, but someone else who actually wears those sizes might want to comment here.

The customization on the Giroux is totally off. The layers on the back numbers should be much thicker, and the name font should be similar to the white on orange font used on the Flyers black jerseys. An example can be seen here:

http://www.meigray.com/edealinv/servlet/ExecMacro?nurl=control/StoreItem.vm&ctl_nbr=2381&siId=4868311&catLevel=1&scLevel=1&thisCatLevel=&oldParentID=4208&catParentID=4377&scId=4377

The Reebok jersey itself is OK, it's the one used from 2005-07. Giroux only played 5 games in the 2006-07 season, so I can't be sure he even used that black jersey, but at least it's appropriate for that season.

Question on this Sturm jersey listed here. I bought it at $110 just now, but just wanted to check with the experts to make sure it's all good

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BOSTON-BRUINS-MARCO-STURM-2006-2007-AUTHENTIC-GAME-JERSEY-/130822523692?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&nma=true&si=YHkCH1VjX644Yb03U2WFYGPdscU%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

Looks like a legit team issue 1.0, but there is no size tag or tag from the team.

Who does the customizations for the bruins?

Did I get a steal on this or just a dud?

PS the seller has 100% feedback

Is this one legit?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chicago-Blackhawks-Authentic-Reebok-Edge-Jersey-7231A-NWT-Size-54-NHL-/181048435387?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item2a2753e2bb

And while I'm here, can someone clue me in the what "Indo Edge" means?

I did a quick search of the board but came up empty.

Are they junk?

Thanks

This past season, instead of putting up real on ice authentics for sale, Reebok shifted the production of retail "authentics" to Indonesia instead of Canada. These jerseys are made of with much lower quality materials than edge 1.0s and 2.0s.

Essentially they are replica jerseys with fight straps attached.

But the seller is a member on this forum so I don't want to call it junk to hurt his feelings lol

Thank you very much.

I mainly only try to collect the early to mid 90's CCM jerseys but have recently started to expand my Hawks collection and I've heard many talk about the "Indo-Edge" but never really knew if they were worth buying.

Is there a way to tell the difference between Indo and an authentic?

I checked the tags and tails guide but apparently I am putting in the wrong key words.

Thanks again,

I just got my first Indo. It is alright. It isn't as bad as some people make them out to be, but they are no where near the quality of a 2.0. The Blackhawks Indos are cool because they actually have chain stitching

I picked up a lightning away Indo. I was actually impressed with it. Closer to a 2.0 than i would have thought and its definitely better than a 1.0

Looking for a white CCM Rangers jersey to make into a Messier (here come the rants and raves).

Anyway, is this worth the $$ to strip? I'm concerned about the pink stains he mentioned as well as the stain on the bottom.
