LAK74
The snap button is facing the camera, so you're looking at the back side of the fight strap against the inside of the front of the jersey. The strap attachment to the jersey is probably not visible because the rear hem is folded over it.
QueenAnnesRevenge
Hi I am just started collecting hockey jerseys, so I am not an pro for spot a fake jersey (forgive me) I've been collecting baseball jerseys, and the seller listed some really nice jersey and some fake jersey both, so I cannot guess.. So, let me know thers are fine or fake. http://www.ebay.com/itm/261156648832?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648 http://www.ebay.com/itm/330859489162?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648 http://www.ebay.com/itm/261156647930?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648 http://www.ebay.com/itm/251215099110?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648 and do you guys think these are worthy to collect? Thanks. All four are genuine authentic jerseys, and jerseys4thewin is a good seller. In the case of being worthy, do you think they're worthy to collect? As everybody's collection is different and unique to their taste. If you like them then go ahead
00xtremeninja
jerseys4thewin sells only legit items, but he has a history here. some people like him, some hate him, and others could care less. as mentioned, what makes a jersey worthy of a collection is based only on the collector. some guys might drool over those posted, others just glance over them. LordStanley94
the gretzky is an authentic jersey but gretzky never wore ccm with the rangers and even if he did that lettering is terribly wrong. the numbers on the sleeves are laughable. Cygnus X-1
the gretzky is an authentic jersey but gretzky never wore ccm with the rangers and even if he did that lettering is terribly wrong. the numbers on the sleeves are laughable. the whole customization is off. and to reiterate, Gretzky never wore CCM
thebiggoalie
He wore CCM once with the Rangers, but it was at a conference, not on the ice.
Cygnus X-1
He wore CCM once with the Rangers, but it was at a conference, not on the ice. True........does that count? (In my book I say no)
LordStanley94
yes, in the conference and also in a very corny photo shoot with messier promoting their reunion. he also has a rangers flatley for sale in ccm, flatley also never wore ccm. thebiggoalie
True........does that count? (In my book I say no) While I agree with you, to some people, it does.
LordStanley94
I guess to some that counts but it seems ridiculous to me. lindros carried around a nordiques jersey after the draft... does that count?
thebiggoalie
I guess to some that counts but it seems ridiculous to me. lindros carried around a nordiques jersey after the draft... does that count? There's a huge difference between Gretzky and Lindros: Gretzky played for the Rangers.
LordStanley94
I suppose, but I still say the best thing about gretzky coming to the rangers is all the band wagon fans who went out and got gretzky rangers jerseys leading up to the plethora of cheap strip candidates popping up on eBay fifteen years later. I have stripped 4 personally and paid under 100 for each one.
Skate67
I've had this in my closet for awhile. I know it isn't an authentic jersey. What I'm wondering is if it is at least a licensed replica. It looks like the early 90s style. I'll let the pics do the talking: Excuse the IPhone pics. 00xtremeninja
replicas are never faked. looks good to me. nice jersey.
LAK74
Yes, it's legit. But the collar tags indicate it was manufactured in the very late 1990's, after that design was retired.
Skate67
Good to know thanks guys. I thought the way the CCM logo is on the back was indicative of early 90s? Edit: N/m you said the tags are tell tale.
LordStanley94
it looks to me like a legitimate ccm replica of an early 90's jersey but made in the late 90's. if that makes sense. the tags have are definitely indicative that it was made later but like you said that ccm logo is the style worn the first half of the decade. pretty cool jersey either way dude, and the lettering looks correct too. HockeyMusic
I guess to some that counts but it seems ridiculous to me. lindros carried around a nordiques jersey after the draft... does that count? To me that does....I have a Nords blue jersey that I am getting customized as his draft day jersey Plus that was quite the unique moment in NHL history
LordStanley94
haha, the reason I posted that is because I considered doing the same thing at one point. well be sure to post it up, I'd love to see it.
p.a.koroluk
I hope that this post, my first, will not be incorrect or misplaced, but I would appreciate any thoughts or guidance regarding these two NY Islander jerseys:(CCM Vintage Mke Bossy Blue)http://www.ebay.com/itm/160962131918(Starter White) http://www.ebay.com/itm/251219463318(For your understanding, just in case it is a consideration, I do not plan to be a collector, but am simply hoping to purchase one NY Islanders jersey which I can enjoy for a long time. An un-personalized older-style white jersey without the shoulder patch would actually have been my first choice, but I the above two items also caught my attention when looking around eBay.) Specific comments and general advice would both be warmly welcomed.
LordStanley94
those are both replicas... if you look in the trading post section here there is a member selling both a blue and a white islanders pro jersey for not much more than those replicas.
