conroyfan22
This Conroy Blues jersey has been on ebay for as long as I can remember. I've considered buying it numerous times but haven't due to a lack of money. Also, the stitching looks really poorly done. Can anyone confirm if it is a legitimate jersey with poor customization, or is it a fake? I'm not too worried about the autograph-- I want an autographed Conroy jersey, but I know his aunt, so I can pretty much get an autograph any time I want... :-) http://www.ebay.com/itm/ST-LOUIS-BLUES-22-Craig-Conroy-Signed-Stitched-Jersey-M-CCM-Free-Shipping-/140577070866?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item20bb0bdf12
HawksFanInDC
Looks like a legit Blackhawks 2.0 with vector. Something strikes me odd about the fight strap, also, the tag says 7187A which I always associated with 1.0s. The two game worn 2.0s I have are 7187H. Any opinions? http://www.ebay.com/itm/300754096553?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648#ht_1947wt_1163

If so, the size tag on those jerseys have the tag 7187H. 56 and smaller say 7187A

00xtremeninja
doh, good point. Sportswelcome.com. looked legit with closeout style prices for edge jerseys, but after doing more research seems like people were paying for things and never getting them
orangecrush8
Not thinking they are legit. Did a quick search of Flyers jerseys and a bunch of these came up http://www.sportswelcome.com/nhl-jerseys/philadelphia-flyers-jersey/reebok-edge-philadelphia-flyers-17-wayne-simmonds-orange-2012-winter-classic-premier-jersey.html

It shows some wear and being a replica it had glued twill layers with the outer layer stitched to the jersey. Since you're not worried about the autograph, you may just want to track down a Starter or Proplayer replica from that era and have it correctly customized as Conroy. The Starter & Proplayer replicas were great, better quality than the CCM one in the auction. If you get it cheap enough you could probably get it customized and the total cost would be about the same as the jersey in that auction. Mediumhero
http://www.ebay.ca/i...=item896353fa63 Is it safe to say that these are fake? Mass quantities, cheap, the "BURE" doesn't look right. Don't think Bure had the A at that time also but I'm probably wrong. If thats a fake then its probably the best fake I've seen. LAK74
Yeah, they're fake- pretty good ones but there are still some clues that tell you they're not legit. No CCM authentic (in this case from the 1990's) should have that replica neck tag (which wasn't used until the 2000's). The closeups of the jersey material show a texture unlike any used by CCM on their jerseys. The stitch lines on the colored stripes on the sleeves and hem indicate different fabric pieces sewn together, whereas an authentic would have a single ultrafil panel with dyed-in stripes. The fight strap material and snaps are different from those used on legit CCM authentics. And you're right, the ridiculously low price and the fact that more than 10 are available should clue you in as well. And Bure didn't wear the "A" during the Cup Finals. DC Red Wings
About that Bure jersey...whenever I see big creases in the jersey like that it always leads me to believe it's fake, is that a good assumption? I have a bunch of jerseys and beat them pretty good, but I have never been able to make any creases like those in them, makes me think it's a different material or something. brandon
Its from being folded up and packed with 30 other jerseys a package the size of a shoebox. Ive seen pics of the china shipments on the ice.gov site and its no wonder they have perma-creases.

tmlfan16
Not exactly too sure on this or any Flames jerseys for that matter, but does this look real? $149.99 for a customized Kipper Heritage seems low. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/NEW-REEBOK-CCM-MIIKKA-KIPRUSOFF-CALGARY-FLAMES-NHL-AUTHENTIC-THROWBACK-JERSEY-50-/370566017800?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item564774b308#ht_1644wt_1037

Brilliant!
It's got to be the wrong image. The front is an Iginla jersey but the back is Irving.
tmlfan16
Ah. Missed the 12 on the sleeves somehow, guess I was focusing too much on the C on a supposed goalie jersey, Thanks.

I was curious at that price, The only other jersey I actually would want other than a Leafs is a Nordiques maybe.
