It is good or not?

The jersey is good. It's a Reebok 6100 from 2005-07. CCM and Reebok are owned by the same company so the older Reebok jerseys do have CCM on some of the tags.

Didn't mean to post this in the eBay thread...

Anyone? I know NOTHING about jerseys from this period to be able to look at it and tell. Only thing I can see is that the fight strap looks good and the crest doesn't look bubbly...

Can anyone confirm if this is good? Been looking for a starter 48 for a while.

Looks good to me.

Blurryhaze, the Pens jersey is legit too.

The only issue I see is the fact that it's on a dirty garage floor next to a hydrolic jack.

Hi there. Just joined, thank you! Can someone comment on this All Star jersey?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/261211234848?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

These are from the same seller:

He says he got them from a reputable guy who had them in a sports memorabilia store in southern CA.

Thank you! I've learned more about jerseys in the last month that I ever thought I would know. Can't believe how many fakes are out there.

I'm sorry to be dense, and I hadn't considered an All Star jersey before, so I'm no expert in what they are supposed to look like. What do you mean by the color tagging? And what is it about the numbers? Thank you!

Ah, I found one that you are/were selling and can see the thicker blue lines in the numbers. Is that what you are referring to?

Like Cowboys says, those are absolutely awful fakes. All you have to do is look at a photo of a real one to compare to:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-NHL-ALL-STAR-GAME-WEST-TEAM-ISSUED-REEBOK-EDGE-2-0-HOCKEY-JERSEY-SZ-54-/290913512260?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D7606081432187995184%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D290913512260%26

Look at the differences in the light blue color, especially in the collar and hem, the pattern and thickness of the white pinstripes on the sleeves, the dark blue stripes on the collar. The real ones have a lime green stripe in the collar. Also look at the closeups of the texture of the material- the real ones are airknit, while the fake ones have a rougher, waffle-like pattern that looks more like the bubble mesh of the Edge 1.0 jerseys.

Thank you. This is a real learning experience, and I really appreciate being able to come to the experts for advice. I thought I was getting reasonably good about spotting fake Blackhawks team jerseys, but knew nothing about All Star jerseys. I will continue my search for a Hawks jersey, although with their success, I haven't been finding sellers of the real thing for a good price. lol The good news is we have tickets to Round 2, games 1, 5, and 7, but it looks like I'll be wearing a polo instead of a Hawks jersey/sweater.

And the crests on the fakes look like they're made out of marshmallow. Puffy numbers/crests/shoulder patches are always giveaways, too.

Check the TradingPost thread here. HawksFan719 has something in his sale thread. I think it's a replica Winter Classic, but it's a great price and he'd have it shipped to you in time for your games. Just a thought...

Thanks, but I'm looking for a home (red) or away (white) jersey. Not so interested in Winter Classic or black.

Bummer. Good luck, & enjoy the games.
