Hey guys, looking to scratch my Belfour itch:

http://www.blackhawksplayersjerseys.com/shop-by-players/ed-belfour-jersey/ed-belfour-authentic-red-throwback-jersey-size-40-m-44-l-48-xl-52-xxl-56-xxxl-60-xxxl.html

Not sure how legit these are or this site is.

Any responses - thanks in advance :)

I'm gonna take that as a solid bit of advice. I will hope CCM will one day offer all vintage in 3x

Why go vintage...or even replica? Post what you want in the wantlist and it will probably come to you sooner than you think.

I need help haha. It looks better than the obvious repro at least :P. I'm guessing fake though

Edit: ANDDD also this one lol? Price and quantity seem to good to be true though to me it looks good. I'm never right with patches though.

Both are repros.

Ok, I'm looking at a Mike Ricci Sharks jersey, and the big thing is it's a Nike NHL jersey. All Nike jerseys look fake to me, so a little help if you don't mind?

Thanks in advance.

It's legit. That's the first 1997-98 Nike jersey I've seen with the "R" next to the NHL shield. The nameplate letters are noticeably thicker than the ones used during that season on the game jerseys.

Curious as to why they look fake to you. Nike airknits are great jerseys- well put together and comfortable to wear. Perhaps the fight strap looks phony with the white snap button?

Fight strap and the Nike swoosh always looks funny.

Nope. Just Starters from 1996-99 (white jerseys without tie down collars). The jersey in the auction is a post-2000 CCM.

I was given this beautiful jersey. I wanted to give it to my aunt in Philly, but if it's a bad chinese fake, I rather just burn it. I know they use unserged nameplates...but, wanted a second opinion. Thanks!

Sorry, but I think you'd better get out the matches.

Maybe get some gas too. Ignoring everything else just look at the cut at the bottom of the Jersey. Legit edge jerseys are a much smoother curve. Just the profile of this one gives it away.

Plus the fight strap looks to be about 3 inches too far to the left. It's almost like those 8 year old chineese children aren't even being supervised anymore.

Oh geez. I hadn't even seen the other issues because I was too focused on the nameplate. Guess you get what you pay for. Thanks so much!

Yeah it's not a good fake. Numbers appear too small or the jersey too long, not sure which. Reebok patch off center, fight strap twill square, those little cuts on the sides at the hem... Plus the whole nameplate fiasco which you picked up on.

Not implying you don't believe us but if you poke around some of the other threads here you can kinda compare it to legit ones. That can help you understand what to look for pretty easily.

Oh well, better luck on the next one. You can always check with everyone here before you buy too.

It's definitely a fake.

And FYI, the Flyers don't use "unserged nameplates" they use twill nameplates.

Burn baby burn!

Real? Fake? Obviously not game worn, but is it an authentic? Could be game issued?

I've seen signed versions of this jersey with a limited production run -

Here is another one (old auction) - http://www.gamewornauctions.net/products/Wayne_Gretzky_New_York_Rangers_Replica_Jersey_1998_99_Final_Season-7598-175.html
